摘要: An ambulatory medicament device can generate a dose control signal for delivery of medicament to a subject and secure at least some functionality of a user interface of the ambulatory medicament device. The ambulatory medicament device can have a locked state that restricts modification of at least one control parameter. The ambulatory medicament device can have an unlocked state that allows modification of at least one control parameter. The ambulatory medicament device can accept a user input of a security code that is validated against a passcode to enter from the locked state to the unlocked state.

摘要: A method of dispensing a therapeutic fluid from a line includes providing an inlet line connectable to an upstream fluid source. The inlet line is in downstream fluid communication with a pumping chamber. The pumping chamber has a pump outlet. The method also includes actuating a force application assembly so as to restrict retrograde flow of fluid through the inlet while pressurizing the pumping chamber to urge flow through the pump outlet. A corresponding system employs the method.

The method includes determining an ontime for the shape-memory alloy wire based on a target volume to be pumped by a pump plunger, determining the temperature of the shape-memory alloy wire and adjusting the ontime based on the temperature of the shape-memory alloy wire.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for monitoring the status of an ambulatory medical device and the health condition of a subject that receives therapy from the ambulatory medical device. The ambulatory medical device can have a touchscreen display user interface to receive input signals from a user and display alarm conditions associated with the status of an ambulatory medical device or health condition of a subject. The disclosed methods and systems can determine whether status information received from a monitoring system interface satisfies an alarm condition for the ambulatory medicament device or for the subject. If the status information satisfies an alarm condition, the touchscreen user interface can display one or more alarm status indicators corresponding to the alarm condition. The user can activate a therapy change interface on the touchscreen display and modify a control parameter of the ambulatory medical device that controls the therapy delivery to the subject.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for switching control of an ambulatory medical device from an application executing on the ambulatory medical device to a safe version or a new version of the application without interrupting therapy provided by the ambulatory medical device to a subject. The ambulatory medical device can maintain copies of a safe version and a new version of the application. The disclosed systems and methods can execute the new version, while the prior version of the application continues to execute, determine whether a minimum set of operating conditions are satisfied by the new version, and switch control of the ambulatory medical device from the prior version to the new version. The systems and methods can also automatically revert to the safe version of the application case the current version is malfunctioning without interrupting therapy provided to the subject.

The fill stations may be opened and closed to accept a reservoir and to allow fluid to be introduced into the reservoir for use with personal pump systems. The fill stations may hold the reservoir at a tilt relative to an underlying surface and may discourage overfilling of the reservoir. The filling stations may also include viewing windows having fluid lines marked thereon for indicating volume of fluid within the reservoir.

摘要: A repeater system may control a pump by using a repeater and a user interface. An adhesive patch system may be used for affixing a pump or other object to a human body. Such an adhesive patch system may include two sets of adhesive members, each member including an adhesive material on at least one side so as to attach to the body. The members of the first set are spaced to allow the members of the second set to attach to the body in spaces provided between the members of the first set, and the members of the second set are spaced to allow members of the first set to detach from the body without detaching the members of the second set. Also, fill stations and base stations are provided for personal pump systems.

摘要: An apparatus for monitoring EMG signals of a patient's laryngeal muscles includes an endotracheal tube having an exterior surface. Conductive electrodes are formed on the endotracheal tube. The conductive electrodes are configured to receive the EMG signals from the laryngeal muscles when the endotracheal tube is placed in a trachea of the patient. At least wireless sensor is formed on the endotracheal tube, and is configured to wirelessly transmit information to a processing apparatus.

The system includes a fill station including a fill station base, a fill station cover hingably attached to the fill station base, and a filling aperture attached to the fill station cover, wherein the fill station may be opened to accommodate the one or more reservoirs. The system also includes a vial having an interior volume for containing a fluidic medium, the vial configured to removably attach to the filling aperture, and a plunger located within the vial, the plunger advancable within the vial to reduce the interior volume.
