摘要: A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device that has a memory to store instructions and a processor coupled to the memory, wherein responsive to executing the instructions, the processor performs operations that include defining a group of perspectives around an avatar controlled by a player of a video game, detecting a current trigger during the video game, recording a trigger clip of game content for each perspective in the group of perspectives resulting in a group of trigger clips, wherein each trigger clip of the group of trigger clips is a portion of game content that includes the current trigger from each perspective of the group of perspectives, and providing the group of trigger clips over a communication network to a gaming device utilized by the player. Additional embodiments are disclosed.

Methods and systems are provided for establishing a set of data chronicling at least a portion of a duration of a computer-based gaming event that includes at least one user engaging in gaming using a computer or a computer-based device. Event data is obtained for chronicling chronologically ordered in-game events. Hardware and software related data is obtained that relates to the computer or the computer-based device and is relevant to the chronicling of the portion of the gaming event. Utilizing a distributed ledger technology or blockchain, the event data and the hardware and software related data are recorded in establishing the set of data chronicling at least a portion of the duration of the gaming event.

摘要: The disclosed computer-implemented method includes accessing media frame generation input events produced as part of a multimedia application on a media server, selecting at least one media frame that is to be rendered according to the media frame generation input events, determining graphics processing capabilities of a client device on which the selected media frame is to be rendered, and generating a render command for the selected media frame based on the determined graphics processing capabilities of the client device. The render command includes contextual graphics information and graphics processing unit (GPU) pipeline information for use in rendering the selected media frame on the client device. The method also includes transmitting the generated render command to the client device to initiate rendering of the selected media frame using the contextual graphics information and the GPU pipeline information. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

摘要: Methods, systems, and media for coordinating multiplayer game sessions are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: determining that a first user associated with a first user device is viewing game content created by a second user associated with a second user device; in response to determining that the first user is viewing the game content created by the second user, determining whether the first user satisfies criteria for joining a multiplayer game session with the second user; in response to determining that the first user satisfies criteria for joining the multiplayer game session with the second user, causing a selectable input element to join a queue of players to participate in the multiplayer game session with the second user to be presented on the first user device; in response to determining that the selectable input element to join the queue of players has been selected on the first user device, adding the first user to a position of the queue of players; in response to determining that the first user can participate in the multiplayer games session based on the position within the queue of players, causing an invitation to join the multiplayer game session to be presented on the first user device; in response to determining that the invitation to join the multiplayer game session has been accepted on the first user device, causing the first user to be added to the multiplayer game session; causing the multiplayer game session to begin on the first user device, wherein the multiplayer game session includes at least the first user and the second user; and in response to determining that the multiplayer game session has ended, removing the first user from the multiplayer game session.

摘要: A data processing system implements an acoustic delay detection technique for detecting and correcting inter-stream latency between two audio streams in a cloud-based computing environment. A first audio stream of game audio is sent to a controller or headset associated with the cloud-based computing environment, and a second audio steam of game audio is send to a display device associated with the cloud-based computing environment. An acoustic marker that is inaudible to human users is added to the second audio stream. A microphone associated with the controller or headset records audio content output by a speaker of the display device. The recording includes the acoustic marker. The gaming platform correlates this recording with the acoustic marker to determine a difference between the time that the controller played the audio and the time that the display device played the audio in order to determine and compensate for an inter-stream latency.
