摘要: A treatment process and wood products thereof including a product formulation of a single phase solution combining a wood preservative (durable component) with a Flame Retardant component (FR) to produce a durable Flame Retardant (dFR) treated wood product. The durable component comprises a range of copper based and non-copper based wood preservatives, while the FR component comprises alkali metal silicates and alkali metal aluminate compounds. The dFR working solution undergoes chemical impregnation (treatment) followed by a heat (fixation) process step that locks the chemical into the wood making it non-leachable. The dFR treated wood products are tested for their enhanced fire performance properties. When heated, wood undergoes thermal degradation and combustion producing gases, vapors, tars and chars. Using a cone calorimeter burn test method, dFR treated wood products show a significant reduction in heat release rate, mass loss rate and smoke generated values compared to untreated radiate pine.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for preparing a wood modifier and a method for wood modification, and in particular, to a method for preparing a room temperature cured multifunctional wood modifier and a method for wood modification to solve the problems of high construction temperature, high toxicity, poor leaching-resistance and single function of existing wood modifiers. The method includes: step 1: weighing a hydrophobic polymer resin, an additive, a curing agent and a solvent, mixing and then stirring at room temperature to obtain a functional reagent A; step 2: weighing nanoparticles, a surface modifier and toluene, mixing and then stirring, cleaning with acetone, centrifuging, and drying to obtain a functional reagent B; step 3: adding a functional reagent C into the functional reagent A, evenly stirring, adding the functional reagent B, and performing ultrasonic processing to obtain the multifunctional wood modifier.

摘要: The invention relates to aqueous fungicidal active substance compositions and to their use in the control of harmful microorganisms and in particular in the protection of cellulose-comprising materials, particularly wood, from infection by microorganisms, in particular those harmful fungi which can damage wood or cellulose. The active substance composition according to the invention comprises: a) at least one fungicidal organic active substance with a solubility in water of not more than 5 g/l at 25° C./1013 mbar, and b) a finely-divided polymer with an average particle size, determined by dynamic light scattering, of not more than 300 nm, in which the polymer particles comprise the active substance, the polymer being formed from ethylenically unsaturated monomers M comprising: at least 60% by weight, based on the total amount of the monomers M, of at least one neutral monoethylenically unsaturated monomer M1 with a solubility in water of not more than 30 g/l at 25° C., and up to 40% by weight, based on the total amount of the monomers M, of one or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers M2 other than the monomers M1.

摘要: Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for treating wood to give it a desirable color that is durable over time, while at the same time rendering the wood resistant to fungal decay and insect attack. The wood may be pressure treated in a two-step process whereby the wood is first treated with a wood preservation composition, and then treated with a composition comprising pigments, or vice versa. Alternatively, the wood may be simultaneously treated with a composition comprising a wood preservative and a composition comprising pigments.
