摘要： A vehicle fuel pump module includes a jet pump assembly and feed tube that delivers fuel to the assembly. The module includes a jet pump choke that is disposed in the jet pump assembly and provides a reduction of pressure of fluid within the jet pump assembly. The jet pump choke includes include a choke housing that defines a passageway that extends between a fluid inlet and outlet, and a slot that is formed in a surface of the passageway. A ball is fixed within and obstructs the passageway, and abuts the slot. A fluid path defined between the ball and surfaces of the slot provides fluid communication between the fluid inlet and outlet of the choke housing.

The fuel passage includes an outside passage part through which fuel flows from the communication port toward the discharge passage, and an inside passage part that throttles a flow of fuel flowing from the communication port toward the residual pressure holding valve more than the outside passage part. When a passage cross-sectional area of the inside passage part is converted into a passage cross-sectional area of a circular pipe, D which is a passage diameter of the circular pipe, and L which is a length of the inside passage part satisfy a relational expression of L/D≥3.

摘要： An exhaust valve arrangement for use in a combustion chamber of a compression ignition internal combustion engine, includes a piston which is movable outwardly from the combustion chamber in response to pressure generated within the combustion chamber as a result of combustion, and an outer sleeve within which the piston is movable. The outer sleeve is an exhaust valve which is actuable between open and closed positions to open and close, respectively, an exhaust passage from the combustion chamber. The exhaust valve arrangement further includes a pump chamber for receiving fluid, and a pumping plunger coupled to the piston and movable with the piston so as to pressurise fluid (e.g. fuel) within the pump chamber as the piston is urged outwardly from the combustion chamber. The pressure within the pump chamber is proportional to cylinder pressure and is sensed by a sensor which provides an output signal to an Engine Control Unit (ECU 16). An accumulator volume receives fluid that is pressurised within the pump chamber. Where the fluid is fuel, the accumulator volume is arranged to deliver fuel to one or more injectors of a common rail fuel injection system. Alternatively the accumulator volume may be arranged to deliver pressurised fluid to one or more engine systems e.g. for actuation purposes.

摘要： Arranged in the fuel tank is a reservoir into which fuel is pumped by a jet pump connected to a return line from the internal combustion engine. The jet pump has a jet nozzle which is arranged in a holder formed on the reservoir. Between its inlet opening and the propulsion-nozzle opening, the jet nozzle has a bypass opening which is connected to a stub projecting into the reservoir. At its end, the stub is provided with a seat which can be closed by a closing element. Arranged in the reservoir is a leaf spring which is fixed at one end and which presses the closing element onto the seat. Together with the closing element, the bypass opening forms a bypass valve which allows fuel to flow out of the jet nozzle if a certain pressure is exceeded.

摘要： The invention is directed to a fuel-injection arrangement for a two-stroke engine in a motor-driven chain saw. An injection pump is mounted in a base housing with the injection pump including a pump piston axially displaceable in a pump cylinder. The pump piston delimits a pump chamber. The pump chamber is connected via a suction valve to a fuel tank. The fuel drawn by suction is pumped by the pump piston via a pressure valve, an injection line and an injection valve to the engine. For driving the pump piston, the latter is connected at one end to a membrane via a membrane plate. The membrane delimits a work chamber charged with fluctuating crankcase pressure. A simple assembly is provided by arranging the pump chamber, the suction valve and the pressure valve in a common valve housing which, in turn, is seated in the base housing of the injection pump in a seal-tight manner. The injection line is connected directly to the valve housing. This permits a preassembly of the valve housing with the valves provided therein which facilitates the manufacture of the fuel-injection arrangement.
