摘要: The present invention is provided with an electrolyte measurement unit 11, a second measurement unit for performing measurement of a different measurement item to the electrolyte measurement unit 11, a sampling mechanism 5 for dispensing a sample to the electrolyte measurement unit 11 or the second measurement unit, and a control unit 13 for controlling the operation of respective devices. When the sample is dispensed to the second measurement unit by the sampling mechanism 5 or measurement of the sample is performed by the second measurement unit, the control unit 13 measures the potential in a state in which ion-selective electrodes 104, 105, and 106 are filled with an internal standard liquid, and determines, on the basis of measured data, whether or not there is an abnormality in the electrolyte measurement unit 11. An electrolyte analysis device capable of sensing an unstable state at an early stage, and a method for determining an abnormality in an electrolyte concentration measurement unit, are thereby provided.

摘要: A method and device for performing DNA sequencing and extracting structural information from unknown nucleic acid strands. The device includes a microwell structure, where identical DNA strands are immobilized within the microwell structure on a surface of a micro-bead, an active electrode or a porous polymer. The device further includes a CMOS-integrated semiconductor integrated circuit, where the CMOS-integrated semiconductor integrated circuit includes metal layers on a silicon substrate, where the metal layers form an active electrode biosensor. In addition, a sensing electrode is formed by creating openings in a passivation layer of the CMOS-integrated semiconductor integrated circuit to hold a single bead, on which the DNA strands are immobilized.

摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus for determining a process variable of a medium in a containment, comprising first and second oscillatory elements, first and second driving/receiving units, and electronics. The first driving/receiving unit is embodied to excite the first oscillatory element using a first electrical excitation signal to execute mechanical oscillations, and to receive the mechanical oscillations of the first oscillatory element and to convert such into a first electrical, received signal, wherein the second driving/receiving unit is embodied to excite the second oscillatory element by means of a second electrical excitation signal to execute mechanical oscillations, and to receive the mechanical oscillations of the second oscillatory element and to convert such into a second electrical, received signal, and wherein the electronics is embodied to determine the process variable from the first received signal and/or the second received signal.

摘要: A sub adjustment pump cell pumps out oxygen from a measurement gas introduced into a sub adjustment chamber to the extent that H2O and CO2 contained in the measurement gas are not decomposed, a first pump cell pumps out oxygen from a first chamber so that substantially all of H2O and CO2 contained in the measurement gas introduced from the sub adjustment chamber into the first chamber are decomposed, concentrations of H2O and CO2 are identified from a pump-in current when H2 and CO generated by decomposition are oxidized in the second chamber and the third chamber, and a concentration of oxygen contained in the measurement gas is identified based on a magnitude of a current flowing between a sub adjustment inner electrode and an outer electrode at the time when the sub adjustment pump cell pumps out oxygen from the sub adjustment chamber.
