Abstract:
A printed circuit board (100) includes a plurality of through-holes (26) defined therein, and a plurality of solder pads (20) defined to surround the through holes (26) respectively. Each of the solder pads (20) includes a first soldering zone (22) for accommodating solder used in a soldering process and a second soldering zone (28) in communication with the first soldering zone (22) for receiving excess solder extravasating from the first soldering zone (22). An axis of each of the solder pads (22) and a direction opposite to a movement direction of the printed circuit board (100) in the soldering process defines a predetermined angle.
Abstract:
A chip package structure is disclosed. The chip package structure includes an inner molding compound with a low modulus covering the chip and an outer molding compound covering the inner molding compound. The outer molding compound has a modulus larger than then modulus of the inner molding compound.
Abstract:
A flip chip package structure includes a substrate, a chip, solder bumps, a heat sink, a thermal interface material (TIM), and solder balls. The substrate has an upper surface and a lower surface and further has a receiving area. The receiving area has a bottom in the substrate and an opening formed on the upper surface. Several solder bumps are disposed in the receiving area. The chip is disposed on the upper surface of the substrate, and covers the opening. The front surface of the chip is electrically coupled to the bottom via the solder bumps. The heat sink is attached to the upper surface of the substrate and the back surface of the chip through the adhesion of TIM. Several solder balls are disposed on the lower surface of the substrate.
Abstract:
The present invention describes a peptide and analogues thereof, which is a fragment of an olfactory receptor protein capable of selectively binding to trimethylamine so that they are useful for detecting trimethylamine. The present invention further describes a method and a device for detecting trimethylamine by using the peptide and the analogues thereof.
Abstract:
An intelligent off-peak power distribution system may include a plurality of power consumption ends powered by a plurality of batteries. Each of the batteries is individually programmed with an electronic code, and the batteries are charged by at least a power supply end, and the charging method thereof is to use off-peak power to perform charging during off-peak hour. At least a distribution vehicle is provided to transport the batteries between the power consumption ends and the power supply end, and a smart communication network is communicated with the power consumption ends, the distribution vehicle, and the power supply end. The batteries are available and transported between the power consumption ends by the distribution vehicle so that the distribution vehicle departing from the power supply end is configured to distribute power to more power consumption ends in a single ride, thereby reducing the power and transportation costs.
Abstract:
A controlling method for an electronic cigarette with multiple output modes and an electronic cigarette are disclosed. The controlling method comprises receiving a first operation signal for switching between output modes when the electronic cigarette is in a standby state. An output mode is in a memory, the output mode corresponding to the first operation signal and displacing a previous output mode. When the electronic cigarette receives a smoking signal, outputs are controlled according to the output mode stored in the memory. Whether the smoking signal is interrupted is determined when the battery feeds power to the load. The electronic cigarette enters standby state when the smoking signal is interrupted, otherwise whether a duration of the smoking signal reaches a preset duration is determined. If yes, the load is stopped charging and a hint is generated for indicating that a working duration of the electronic cigarette is too long.

Abstract:
A polishing method and a polishing system are provided. By means of adjusting a rotational center of a polishing article corresponding to positions of a polishing pad or polishing pads, a polishing rate of the polishing article surface has a better uniformity, resulted from compensation of polishing rates at the rotational center of the polishing article.
Abstract:
A method and a system for preserving privacy of a dataset are provided. In the method, a k-anonymity value with respect to a sensitive data field is determined according to at least one first quasi-identifier. Data entries in each group have the same value in the one or more fields of the first quasi-identifier and data entries in different groups have different values in the one or more fields of the first quasi-identifier. A first group and a second group among the plurality of groups are determined according to the reference number Kr, where the first group and the second group are merged into a merging group. The number of data entries in the merging group is not less than a reference number Kr. One or more fields of at least one first quasi-identifier is masked for the merging group.
Abstract:
An optical image stabilizer includes a magnetic element, a moving platform, at least one first sensor and at least one second sensor. The magnetic element is fixed on a main body. The moving platform is movably disposed on the main body. The first and the second sensors are fixed on the moving platform. When the moving platform moves relatively to the main body, the first sensor senses a variation of a magnetic force applied to the first sensor by the magnetic element for calculating a displacement of the moving platform along a first direction, and the second sensor senses a variation of a magnetic force applied to the second sensor by the magnetic element for calculating a displacement of the moving platform along a second direction. The first direction is perpendicular to the second direction. In addition, an image capturing device having the optical image stabilizer is also provided.
