摘要: A flash A/D converter includes a reference voltage generator for generating a plurality of reference voltages, a first group of amplifiers having a plurality of amplifiers each of which amplifies a difference voltage between each reference voltage generated by the reference voltage generator and a voltage of an input signal, and a second group of amplifiers having a plurality of amplifiers. Each amplifier of the first group of amplifiers is a differential amplifier having a differential pair formed of a plurality of sets of cascode-connected transistors, and has a first switch for short-circuiting respective cascode connection portions of the plurality of transistors configuring the differential pair. Each amplifier of the second group of amplifiers is a differential amplifier having a differential pair formed of at least two transistors and has a second switch for short-circuiting a portion between input units of the differential pair. The first switch and the second switch are controlled to open and close by a control clock of a predetermined period.

摘要: A first liquid fed into a first flow passage 6 of a fluid handling apparatus travels to the open end thereof on the side of a second flow passage 7 due to capillarity. The movement of the first liquid is uniformed on the cross section of the flow passage by the function of a capillarity promoting portion 220 or 230 of the bottom 21 of the first flow passage 6. Then, the movement of a second liquid fed into the second flow passage 7 is uniformed on the cross section of the flow passage by the function of the capillarity promoting portion 220 or 230 of the bottom 21 of the second flow passage 7. Thus, the movement of the front end of the second liquid is substantially uniformed to surely extrude gas from the second flow passage 7 to the outside via a fourth flow passage 10.

摘要: There is provided an optical system 8 for a micro analyzing system capable of precisely analyzing a sample. In the optical system 8, after light beams leaving the tip of an optical fiber 14 pass through a condensing part 13, a sample moving in a separation passage 6 due to electrophoresis is irradiated with the light beams. The condensing part 13 includes a first aspherically cylindrical surface 10 being convex toward the optical fiber 14, a second aspherically cylindrical surface 11 being convex on the opposite side to the first aspherically cylindrical surface 10, and a third aspherically cylindrical surface 12 being convex toward the second aspherically cylindrical surface 11. The first through third aspherically cylindrical surfaces 10 through 12 are arranged in that order from the side of the optical fiber 14 toward the separation passage 6. The sample moving due to electrophoresis is irradiated with light beams which are condensed by the first through third aspherically cylindrical surfaces 10 through 11 after leaving the optical fiber 14.

摘要: When a first liquid fed into a first flow passage 6 moves therein toward a connecting portion 10 due to capillarity, gas in the first flow passage 6 is pushed by the moving first liquid to be exhausted to the external environment via a third flow passage 14 and an external environment communication passage 8, so that the first liquid moves to the end of a fifth flow passage 16, which is formed in the connecting portion 10, on the side of a second flow passage 7 due to capillarity. Then, when a second liquid fed into the second flow passage 7 moves therein toward the connecting portion 10 due to capillarity, gas in the second flow passage 7 is pushed by the moving second liquid to be exhausted to the external environment via a fourth flow passage 15 and the external environment communication passage 8, so that a liquid-liquid interface level between the first and second liquids is formed in the connecting portion 10.
