Abstract: A series of functionalized imidazophenthridine analogue-based blue phosphorescent emitters have been designed, where bulky substituents (e.g., tetrabutyl, phenyl, mesityl, triisopropylbenzene, etc.) are introduced on an imidazophenthridine fragment of the emitters. Bulky substituents may suppress potential excimer formation, as well as improve the solubility of the complexes. This class of emitters may be utilized in luminescent labels, emitters for organic light emitting devices, and lighting applications.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for evaluating or analyzing cognitive function or impairment using speech analysis. In some implementations the evaluation of cognitive function comprises a predicted future cognitive function or change in cognitive function. In some implementations the cognitive function is evaluated using a panel or speech features such as a metric of semantic relevance, MATTR, and other relevant features. In another aspect, a machine learning predictive model for evaluating cognitive function based on speech, comprising: receiving input signal comprising speech audio for a plurality of subjects, to detect one or more metrics of speech identifying classifications corresponding to cognitive function and training a model using machine learning based on a training data set comprising the one or more metrics of speech and the classifications identified in the speech audio, thereby generating a machine learning predictive model configured to generate an evaluation of cognitive function based on speech.

Abstract: Novel compositions and methods for engineering wireframe architectures and scaffolds of increasing complexity by creating gridiron-like DNA structures (FIG. 1). A series of four-arm junctions are used as vertices within a network of double-helical DNA fragments. Deliberate distortion of the junctions from their most relaxed conformations ensures that a scaffold strand can traverse through individual vertices in multiple directions. DNA gridirons, ranging from two-dimensional arrays with reconfigurability to multilayer and three-dimensional structures and curved objects, can be assembled according the methods presented herein.

Abstract: A reconfigurable sensor network uses continuous-variable (CV) multipartite entangled quantum states for distributed RF sensing with uncertainties below the standard quantum limit. A CV multipartite entangled state is generated with a quantum circuit that splits a squeezed vacuum state into spatially separated optical modes that are entangled. Each optical mode is transmitted to a RF-photonic sensor that imposes, on the corresponding optical mode, a quadrature displacement based on the local properties of an RF signal. A homodyne detector then measures the quadrature displacement. A post-processor combines the measurements to estimate a global property of the RF signal, such as an angle-of-arrival. To enable distributed sensing over large distances, the RF-photonic sensors may be spatially separated by several kilometers, or more. Alternatively, the RF-photonic sensors may be integrated into a single photonic system, such as a photonic integrated circuit.
