The stacked die package further includes a first wirebond (822) that connects the first conductive pattern to the second conductive pattern and a mold compound (824) disposed on the first die, the mold compound encapsulating the second die and the wirebond.
Abstract:
A method, data processing system, and computer usable code are provided for collation regression testing. Collation elements are extracted from a locale seed file into an element list. A sorted list is generated from the element list both in a released product and an updated product that is being validated. A comparison is performed of the two lists to produce test results indicating a passing or failing of the collation produced by the updated product as compared to the released product.
Abstract:
The current techniques provide a system for monitoring a physiological parameter of a patient using microneedles that are coupled to an optical system, allowing spectroscopic measurements to be made immediately below the outer layer of the epidermis. In embodiments of the present invention, the results of the spectroscopic measurements are used to control the administration of a drug through an intravenous tube. In other embodiments, the microneedles may be coated with a drug for administration to the patient. In other embodiments, the microneedles may be mounted in a probe, wherein an actuator is used to move the needles into contact with the skin, and a drug delivery system is used to infuse the drug into the patient. A method for making needles is also provided.
Abstract:
A web services enablement system includes a computer adapted to send and receive information to and from a first service, to send and receive information to and from a second service, which may not be a web service, to manage a connection with a third, stateful, service and to send and receive information via the stateful service based on information received from the first service or the second service. Also a method of enabling two-way web services and stateful transactions that includes steps of providing an architecture of base services and meta-services, defining a first base service comprising a core component and an extension component, combining the first base service and a meta-service to create a first usable service, managing a relationship between the first usable service and a second service through dependency or binding or utility, and performing a stateful transaction using the first usable service.
Abstract:
This invention is directed to compounds of formula I: wherein R1-R5 and a-e are as defined in the specification; or pharmaceutically-acceptable salt or solvate or stereoisomer thereof. The invention also directed to pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds; processes and intermediates useful for preparing such compounds; and methods for treating disease conditions mediated by muscarinic receptors using such compounds.
Abstract:
Logocons provide a new online advertising product for brand advertisers. During a computing session especially with consumer-generated content, brand names may be replaced or supplemented with logocons in web pages, files, documents, or other online writings as a form of branding. Written information in the computing session is sent to a parsing or searching engine that searches for particular text corresponding to the brand name. The text is replaced or supplemented with a logocon. A user then views the enhanced information containing the logocon but has the option of prohibiting the logocon from appearing in the information.
Abstract:
This invention discloses a type of stepper motor driver integrated circuit, comprising of a control logic circuit module and a connected stepper motor driver circuit module. The outputs, in groups of two, of the stepper motor driver circuit module are connected to the two ends of coil windings in the stepper motor. Its characteristic is that it is equipped with an I2C serial bus connection which allows the main controller of I2C bus to directly connect to the control logic circuit module via the SDA, SCL, and GND lines resulting in duplex data transmission. With fewer number of signal ports, more driver integrated circuits can also be connected to the same I2C bus. Each driver integrated circuit can directly drive a stepper motor and it can also drive different numbers of stepper motors using different channels. In particular, the multi-channel stepper motor driver integrated circuit has fewer input contact points and thus it clearly reduces the chip area as well as the manufacturing cost which allows the chip to be used in a wide range of digital equipment and electronic information products where space is limited such as with cellular phone photo modules.
Abstract:
A method is described for predicting the relative solubility of a polypeptide using polyethylene glycol (PEG) based volume exclusion precipitation. Different polypeptides can be tested for their solubilities relative to each other or relative to a reference. A single polypeptide can be tested for its relative solubility under different experimental conditions. The solubility determinations can be made by comparison based on graphs plotting the log solubility of the polypeptide against a range of PEG concentrations. Additionally, a method is provided for the high throughput visual or automated screening of multiple polypeptides for relative solubility differences, in a method that can omit the step of measuring the actual solubility or actual amount of precipitation of each sample at each PEG concentration.
Abstract:
The invention encompasses a method of enhancing selectivity of etching silicon dioxide relative to one or more organic substances. A material comprising one or more elements selected from Group VIII of the periodic table is provided within a reaction chamber; and a substrate is provided within the reaction chamber. The substrate has both a silicon-oxide-containing composition and at least one organic substance thereover. The silicon-oxide-containing composition is plasma etched within the reaction chamber. The plasma etching of the silicon-oxide-containing composition has increased selectivity for the silicon oxide of the composition relative to the at least one organic substance than would plasma etching conducted without the material in the chamber. The invention also encompasses a plasma reaction chamber assembly. The assembly comprises at least one interior wall, and at least one liner along the at least one interior wall. The liner comprises one or more of Ru, Fe, Co, Ni, Rh, Pd, Os, W, Ir, Pt and Ti.
