摘要: A probe method of this invention includes a step of reducing an electrode of a wafer by using a forming gas, and a step of bringing the electrode and a probe pin into contact with each other in a dry atmosphere. The probe method further includes, prior to a reducing process of an electrode of the object to be tested, placing the object to be tested in an inert gas atmosphere and heating the object to be tested. The reducing process is performed by bringing a reducing gas into contact with the electrode of the object to be tested under atmospheric pressure.

摘要: A safety controller provides a safety output to a target controlled system such as a magnet contactor based on an input from an input device such as a safety door switch to thereby control operation of machine equipment. Safety output parts serve to transmit a solid-state output as the safety output and a connection output part transmits a connection output to another safety controller. A control part having two CPUs controls the safety output and the connection output according to a program based on the input from the input device. Two or more of such safety controllers are connected through their connecting output parts and the connecting input parts to together form a safety system.

摘要: Radio communication is performed between a base station and a mobile communication apparatus including a speech signal processing unit, a codec unit, a radio unit, a power supply control unit and a main control unit. An intermittent reception ratio between a period of calls from the base station to the mobile communication apparatus and a period of intermittent reception effected by associated periodic supply of the operating power from the battery is set in an intermittent reception ratio setting unit implemented by a processor in a main control unit and a mode flag in a memory, in accordance with extended information items contained in announcement information from the base station. The intermittent reception ratio may alternatively be set by a terminal device connected to the mobile communication apparatus via a connection unit. The power supply control unit supplies an operating power to a reception unit in accordance with the intermittent reception ratio set in the intermittent reception ratio setting unit.

摘要: A loader section for supplying semiconductor wafers is arranged at one end of a linear first convey path for a convey unit. Burn-in test sections, probe test sections, a laser repair section, a deposition repair section, a marking section, a baking section, and visual test sections are arranged on both the sides of the first convey path. In the burn-in test section arranged in the loader section, each semiconductor wafer picked up from a cassette is pre-aligned. The pre-aligned semiconductor wafers are loaded/unloaded into/from the respective test sections and the repair section by the convey unit in accordance with a predetermined test procedure, thereby performing a plurality of test items and repair steps by an inline scheme. Each burn-in test section includes a probe card having conductive projections which are brought into contact with all of many semiconductor chips formed on each semiconductor wafer at once. Each burn-in test section performs burn-in tests on a plurality of semiconductor chips with which the conductive projections are brought into contact at once, while temperature/voltage stresses are applied to the semiconductor chips.

摘要: An apparatus for improving the visibility of objects within the visual field of a vehicle driver and a process therefor are disclosed. The apparatus includes a light caster casting intense visible light toward a reflective object at a frequency no lower than critical fusion frequency, an image pickup device picking up an image of the object and outputting corresponding image data, an image data amplifier, a picture signal generator and a display. The image data are processed to yield a picture signal which yields a clear picture of the object on the display. The apparatus can give the driver of a vehicle a clear picture of the objects within forward visual field of the vehicle at night without dazzling the drivers of vehicles in the opposite lane.
