Disclosed is an apparatus and a method of adjusting a resolution of an application in a wireless terminal, which can automatically adjust a resolution of an application to be appropriate for a resolution of a wireless terminal. The apparatus includes a display unit for displaying an application having a resolution identically adjusted to a resolution of a wireless terminal and a controller for controlling such that when execution of the application is selected, the application is executed by adjusting the resolution of the application to be identical to the resolution of the wireless terminal.

The present invention relates to an exhaust pressure measuring device, and more particularly, to an exhaust pressure measuring device that allows measurement of a change of pressure in an exhaust line in order to prevent problems caused by clogging of an exhaust line at a outletside of a dry pump and at an inletside of a scrubber, and an exhaust line at a outletside of the scrubber in a semiconductor or LCD apparatus in advance.The exhaust pressure measuring device according to the present invention includes a connection pipe connected to a middle of an exhaust line for carrying byproduct gas, the connection pipe having an opening formed in a middle of a body thereof; a chamber provided at an outer side of the connection pipe and communicating with an inside of the connection pipe through the opening, the chamber having a nitrogen supply line connected thereto, the nitrogen supply line allowing nitrogen gas to be supplied from the outside; and a pressure sensor installed to the chamber to measure pressure in the chamber, whereby a change of exhaust pressure in the exhaust line is measured from the measured pressure in the chamber.

Provided is a martensitic stainless steel produced by a twin roll strip casting process and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein the hot rolled steel has superior crack resistance. The martensitic stainless hot rolled steel sheet comprises, by weight %, C:0.1 to 1.5%, Cr:12 to 15%, Ni:1% or lower, Ti:0.005 to 0.1%, and the balance Fe and unavoidably added impurities, and wherein a primary chrome carbide precipitated at a grain boundary is fragmented and refined. Provided is a high hardness martensitic stainless cold rolled steel sheet manufactured by annealing and cold rolling the hot rolled steel sheet, and a method for manufacturing the same. A twin roll strip casting process is applied, and grain boundary strengthening elements are added to prevent center segregation, crack and strip breakage during casting, thereby ensuring the stability of the casting process.

Provided is a method and apparatus for avoiding a collision of a preamble in a base station. When a new base station is installed in a mobile communication system and in this instance, an exclusive preamble using a contention-free scheme is employed to avoid a preamble collision, at least one of a code parameter, a time parameter, and a frequency parameter used in a preamble of the new base station may be set to be different from a code parameter, a time parameter, and a frequency parameter used in a preamble of a neighboring cell, whereby it is possible to manage a random access preamble without causing a collision between cells.

The present invention relates to a method of forming a random beam, and a beam forming apparatus. A quantization preprocessor and a random unitary matrix having a predetermined pattern are used to form a beam on a mobile terminal. A base station forms a beam using a codeword index of a quantization codebook received from a mobile terminal and channel quality information corresponding to the codeword index, and the mobile terminal generates the codeword index and the channel quality information using pilot signals generated by the base station. The number of pilot signals is equal to the number of transmitting antennas. Therefore, a codebook that has been known to both the mobile terminal and the base station is used, and the mobile terminal can select the codeword index for quantization, which makes it possible to selectively give diversity and thus improve the system efficiency.

The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for managing files in a distributed storage system. The apparatus and method for managing a file in a distributed storage system according to the present invention counts the number of inquiries on a file requested by a client; selects the file as a hot file if the number of inquiries counted in a certain counting period is larger than a hot file selection threshold value; and increases the number of copies of the file selected as a hot file or stores the file selected as a hot file in a storage device having a relatively good performance.

Provided are a method of generating a resulting image as if drawn by an artist and an apparatus for executing the method. The apparatus includes a first generation unit configured to generate a vector field expressing a shape of an image using feature pixels of the image captured by an image device and direction information of the feature pixels, a second generation unit configured to generate a structure grid indicating a structure for rendering the shape of the image using the vector field, and a rendering unit configured to render primitives expressing predetermined tones on the generated structure grid. Accordingly, it is possible to automatically and rapidly generate a resulting image from one image. Anyone can easily generate a hedcut from one photo without the limitation that a limited number of artists need to invest a great deal of time to complete one hedcut.

Embodiments of the present invention relate to a switch control circuit, a switch control method, and a power supply device using the same.Embodiments generate a reference signal according to a full-wave rectification voltage and control a switching operation of a power switch according to a comparing result of a sense voltage corresponding to a current flowing to the power switch and the reference voltage. Embodiments determine whether a line is opened between a first output terminal and a second output terminal of the power supply device using the sense voltage. When the line is opened, Embodiments turn off the protection switch.
