    Abstract: A vision system of a vehicle includes an imaging array and a spectral filter disposed at the imaging array. The imaging array includes a two dimensional array of photosensing pixels. The spectral filter includes a deflection color microsplitting configuration. The deflection microsplitting spectral filters are disposed in front of a pixel of a respective sub-array of a plurality of sub-arrays and not disposed in front of other pixels of the respective sub-array. The imaging array captures image data for use in a driver assistance system of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A vision system for a vehicle includes a mirror mounting button attached at a first location at an in-cabin surface of a windshield and an attachment member attached at a second location at the in-cabin surface of the windshield. A light absorbing layer is disposed at the windshield and at least partially masks the presence of the attachment member from view by a viewer who is viewing through the windshield from outside the vehicle. An accessory module is releasably attached to the attachment member and accommodates a forward facing camera. With the accessory module releasably attached to the attachment member at the windshield, the forward facing camera views through the windshield. The forward facing camera includes a component of a camera-based driver assistance system of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A driver assistance system for a vehicle includes an information display screen viewable by a driver of the vehicle when the driver is normally operating the equipped vehicle. At least one camera is mounted at the vehicle and has a field of view exterior of the vehicle and is operable to capture image data. The information display screen is operable to display video images derived from image data captured by the at least one camera and the information display screen is operable to display other information. A capacitive touch sensor is actuatable by the driver of the vehicle, and the information display screen is operable to display at least the other information responsive to actuation by the driver of the vehicle of the capacitive touch sensor.

    Abstract: An accessory system for a vehicle includes a windshield and an accessory module. The windshield has a mounting element attached at an inner surface of the windshield, with the mounting element adapted for mounting of an accessory module thereto and demounting of the accessory module therefrom. The accessory module is adapted for mounting to and demounting from the mounting element. The accessory module accommodates a camera having a CMOS photosensor array and a lens. The CMOS photosensor array is accommodated at the accessory module separate from the lens. The CMOS photosensor array is disposed on a circuit board.     Abstract: A vehicular multi-sensor system includes a plurality of vehicular cameras disposed at a vehicle and viewing exterior the vehicle. Image data captured by the vehicular cameras is provided to a central control module via respective wired connections. At least one radar sensor is disposed at the vehicle and senses exterior the vehicle. Vehicle data relating to operation of the vehicle and radar data captured by the radar sensor is provided to the central control module. During a forward driving maneuver of the vehicle, and responsive at least in part to processing of image data captured by a forward-viewing vehicular camera and radar data captured by a front radar sensor, an object present exterior of the vehicle is detected. During a backup reverse maneuver of the vehicle, video images based on image data captured by a rearward-viewing vehicular backup camera are displayed at a video display screen of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A vehicular driver monitoring system includes an event camera disposed in a cabin of a vehicle and viewing the head of a driver of the vehicle. The dynamic range of the event camera is at least 100 dB. The response time of the event camera is less than 10,000 microseconds. The event camera has a quantum efficiency of at least 15% for near-infrared light having a wavelength of 940 nm. The system, responsive to processing of data output by the event camera, monitors the driver of the vehicle. Responsive at least in part (a) to monitoring of the driver of the vehicle and (b) to vehicle kinematic data provided to the ECU, at least one selected from the group consisting of (i) a driver attentiveness alert is generated, (ii) a driver drowsiness alert is generated, (iii) steering of the vehicle is controlled and (iv) braking of the vehicle is controlled.

    Abstract: A vehicular control system includes a central control module vehicle, a plurality of vehicular cameras disposed at a vehicle and viewing exterior of the vehicle, and a plurality of radar sensors disposed at the vehicle and sensing exterior of the vehicle. The plurality of vehicular cameras includes at least (i) a forward-viewing vehicular camera, (ii) a driver side sideward-viewing vehicular camera and (iii) a passenger side sideward-viewing vehicular camera. The central control module receives vehicle data relating to operation of the vehicle. During a driving maneuver of the equipped vehicle, and responsive at least in part to fusion at the central control module of (i) image data captured by at least the forward-viewing vehicular camera and (ii) radar data captured by at least the front radar sensor, a pedestrian present exterior of the equipped vehicle is detected.
