A control valve used in a variable displacement compressor. A valve chamber port communicates with a valve chamber. A port is connected with the valve chamber by a valve hole. A valve body selectively opens and closes the valve hole for controlling flow of fluid between the ports. An actuator actuates the valve body. A coil bobbin is accommodated in the casing. A coil is wound about the bobbin. The bobbin contacts a first connector plate. A ground lead of the coil is connected to the first connector plate. A terminal is connected to a supply lead of the coil. A second connector plate is attached to a lid. The second connector plate faces the first connector plate. Flexible contacts are located between the first connector plate and the second connector plate to electrically connect the connector plates.

An electrical connecting device including a first circuit board providing thereon with input/output terminals, each of the terminals having a tip surface coated with gallium and a second circuit board providing thereon with contact terminals, each of the terminals having a tip surface coated with indium or tin. A low-melting point alloy layer is formed by a mutual action between gallium and indium or tin, when the input/output terminals of the first circuit board are in contact with the respective terminals of the second circuit board and electrically connected to each other. The second metal layer includes a plurality of wire-like metal supports extending substantially perpendicular to the surface of the terminal and a low-melting point metal retained by the wire-like metal supports.

In an apparatus for reproducing media having a channel 1 including only accompanied signals and a channel 2 including accompanied signals and song signals, a song signal separator which includes a gain adjusting means for inputting signals of a channel 1, a subtracting means for subtracting the output signals of the gain adjusting means from the signals of a channel 2, and a control means for inputting control starting signals, signals of the channel 2 and the outputs of the subtracting means so as to control the gains of the gain adjusting means. A song signal separator which is capable of drawing out songs only even when the recording level of the accompaniments of the channel 1 is different from the recording level of the accompaniments of the channel 2.

A mounting device for mounting an electronic device on a substrate is described. The electronic device has a plurality of interconnection pins for engagement with corresponding through-holes on the substrate for electric interconnection. The mounting device incorporates a plate member of an insulating material provided with a plurality of counter-bores on an upper major surface of the plate member in correspondence to the interconnection pins of the electronic device, a plurality of through-holes provided on the plate member in correspondence to each of the counter-bores in a concentric relationship to the counter-bore, and a plurality of solder rings provided on the plurality solder rings provided on the plurality of counter-bores.

According to one embodiment, write data is written in a nonvolatile semiconductor memory with a first error correction code and a second error correction code attached to the write data. The first error correction code and the write data are read out from the nonvolatile semiconductor memory to perform first error correction processing. When there is a remaining error, the second error correction code corresponding to the write data is read out to carry out second error correction processing.

According to the present invention, a semiconductor device having a field effect transistor is provided. The field effect transistor comprises a gate insulating film 2 formed on a semiconductor layer 1 and a gate electrode 5 formed on the gate insulating film 2. The gate insulating film 2 has a silicon oxide film including a metal element 4 and nitrogen 3, and characteristics of the silicon oxide film are modified by adding the metal element 4 and nitrogen 3. Respective concentration distributions of the metal element 4 and nitrogen 3 in the gate insulating film 2 have maximum values on an interface side between the gate insulating film 2 and the gate electrode 5, and gradually decrease toward the semiconductor layer 1.

An activating device for a cover has: a shaft unit having a rotary shaft; an arm unit which is coupled to the cover and the rotary shaft; and an actuator which drives the rotary shaft. The actuator has: a motor having a first output portion; a first reducer having an input portion and an output portion; and a second reducer having an input portion and an output portion. The reciprocal of a reduction ratio of the second reducer is larger than a quotient which is obtained by dividing a product by a torque that is required for rotating the output portion when a torque is not applied to the input portion, the product being obtained by multiplying a difference between a maximum torque that is applied to the output portion when the cover is opened, and a torque that is required for rotating the output portion when a torque is not applied to the input portion, with a ratio of a torque that is a remainder of a torque applied to the output portion after subjecting to a mechanical loss due to the second reducer, to the torque applied to the output portion.

In a gas turbine having a plurality of moving blades provided on a rotary shaft in a circumferentially adjoining condition, a seal pin is provided in a spacing between the shanks of the adjacent moving blades for preventing leakage of cooling air from a blade root portion side to an airfoil side; an arcuately depressed portion is formed on the shank of each of the moving blades; and vibration of each of the moving blades is suppressed in such a manner that the seal pin serves as a spring system while the airfoil portion, the platform, the shank, and the blade root portion serve as a mass system.

A battery pack and method of manufacturing same are provided. The battery pack can stabilize bending of a lead housed in a space defined by an external package. Leads 2, 3 of a battery element are bonded to a circuit board housed in a top cover 6. A holder 11 is mechanically fitted to the top cover 6, made of resin molded material and produced by injection molding, for example. The edge faces of ribs 12a, 12b, 12c formed on the holder 11 serve as planes which receive the circuit board 4 in the top cover 6. The top cover 6 and the holder 11 fitted to each other are turned 90°, and moved toward the opening in the edge face of the cell 1 while bending the leads 2, 3, which are bent along the contours of both the sidewalls and bottom surface of the holder 11 and housed in a space defined by the external package. The circumferential surface of the top cover 6 is bonded by heat to the inner surface of the external package.

The present invention relates to a battery apparatus used as a power source for a mobile phone unit and other electronic equipment, in which in a storage portion formed by overlapping a battery storage and a lid, a battery unit containing a power-generating element is stored. The battery apparatus according to the present invention includes: the battery unit containing a power-generating element, the battery storage having the storage portion in which the battery unit is stored, and the lid that closes the end of an opening of the storage portion of the battery storage, wherein a first fixing element for enabling the lid to be engaged with the battery storage and fixing the lid to the battery storage is provided. According to the present invention, the lid is fixed to the battery storage through the first fixing element, so that with a simple structure the battery storage and the lid can be reliably fixed to be integrated, and by forming a thin lid a capacity of the storage portion increases to the extent of reduced thickness, whereby a capacity of the battery unit increases corresponding to the increase in capacity of the storage portion and the amount of power can be increased.
