摘要： A computer includes receptacles for receiving electric cables of peripheral equipment. A gate can be mounted to the housing to extend across the cables and form a gap small enough to prohibit the cable plugs from being separated from the housing. The gate can be locked to the housing by a cable anchoring device which also anchors the housing to a stationary structure. Hence, the computer housing is anchored, and the peripheral equipment is locked to the anchored housing.

摘要： Oleaginous compositions, particularly lubricating oil compositions, exhibiting improved low temperature viscometric properties containing a viscosity index improving amount of a V.I.-dispersant comprised of the reaction products of:(a) an oil soluble ethylene copolymer comprising from about 15 to 90 wt. % ethylene and from about 10 to 85 wt. % of at least one C.sub.3 to C.sub.28 alpha-olefin, having a number average molecular weight of from about 5,000 to 500,000, grafted with an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid material having 1 or 2 acid or anhydride moieties;(b) an organic polyamine having at least two primary amino groups or a polyol; and(c) an amount effective to provide a V.I. improver-dispersant exhibiting improved low temperature viscometric properties of high functionality long chain hydrocarbyl substituted dicarboxylic acid material having a functionality of at least 1.2.

摘要： Manual actuation of a stop/eject button on a computer causes a signal to be sent to both the computer's operating system and to a wireless communication controller. The operating system interprets this signal in a manner analogous to a conventional signal to open the drawer, or door, of a compact disk drive device when a compact disk is not currently present in the drive device. If a compact disk is present in the device, the operating system ignores the signal. In this case, the communications controller operates in a normal fashion to interrupt access to the compact disk, instruct the operating system to unmount the disk, and thereafter eject the disk by opening the drive door.

摘要： Oil soluble grafted ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer useful as a viscosity modifier for oleaginous compositions comprising:(i) backbone copolymer of ethylene and at least one other alpha-olefin monomer, said copolymer comprising intramolecularly heterogeneous copolymer chains containing at least one crystallizable segment of methylene units and at least one low crysallinity ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer segment, wherein said at least one crystallizable segment comprises at least about 10 weight percent of said copolymer chain and contains at least about 57 weight percent ethylene, wherein said low crystallinity segment contains not greater than about 53 weight percent ethylene, and wherein said copolymer has a molecular weight distribution characterized by at least one of a ratio of M.sub.w /M.sub.n of less than 2 and a ratio of M.sub.w /M.sub.w of less than 1.8, and wherein at least two portions of an individual intramolecularly heterogeneous chain, each portion comprising at least 5 weight percent of said chain, differ in composition from one another by at least 7 weight percent ethylene; having grafted on said backbone copolymer(ii) residue of ethylenically unsaturated grafting material;said grafted ethylenealpha-olefin copolymer having substantially the molecular weight distribution, i.e., within about 10 percent, of said copolymer of ethylene. The preferred grafting material is an ethylenically monounsaturated carboxylic acid material having 1 to 2 carboxylic acid groups or an anhydride group.

摘要： An electronic book reading device with a configurable keypad is described. The device includes a first display configured to display visual representations of content of an electronic book. The device further includes a second display configured to display a plurality of different button configurations, one button configuration being displayed at a time. The device also includes a switch array disposed under the second display, wherein the switch array is configured to receive user input and provide tactile feedback when the user input is received. The device includes a processor and memory in electronic communication with the processor. Instructions are stored in the memory. The instructions are executable to process the user input and change a button configuration on the second display from a first button configuration to a second button configuration.
