摘要: Techniques for cleaning the inside of complexly-bent tubing are disclosed using a combination of minimal amounts of solvent and pneumatically propelled foam pellets. In order to increase device efficiency, an escapement apparatus employs a vacuum-assisted loading mechanism and retaining pin to reliably load one pellet at a time.

摘要: An electronic sensor module for us in an interactive system, such as an interactive sports training device, for accurately detecting a projectile brought within close proximity of a target. The sensor module includes a plurality of light sources arranged in a housing such that the light sources are visible through a surface of the housing when activated. A plurality of sensors are also arranged in the housing for detecting the presence of a projectile. In one aspect, the sensors are arranged in a polar array about a center of housing with spaces between adjacent sensors, and with a light source positioned in each space between adjacent sensors.

摘要: A decoy stand for attachment to a duck decoy includes an attachment member to attach the decoy stand to the duck decoy, a bias member to variably bias the attachment member, a stake member to variably bias the attachment member, a tapered stopper member positioned on the stake member to change the bias of the attachment member and a stand mounting member to allow the decoy stand to be mounted in the ground. The decoy stand includes a receiver member to cooperate with the tapered stopper member, and the bias member includes a spring or elastic material. The decoy stand includes a connecting member to connect to the biasing member to the receiver member, and the decoy stand includes a top sleeve member to connect to the attachment member. The decoy stand includes a bottom sleeve member to attach to the stake member, and the stake member varies from straight to Z shaped.

摘要: An apparatus, that places an object ball in the palm of both hands of an athlete, for training the athlete to catch a thrown sports ball with fingertips and thumb tips rather than palms. The size of the object ball can be increased as the athlete's skill level improves. This apparatus teaches the athlete to control the sports ball with the fingertips and thumb tips. Because this apparatus is small and lightweight it can be used for training as well as performance enhancement.

摘要: An apparatus and method for imaging metallic nanoparticles is provided. Preferably, the invention provides for an apparatus and method for detection of gold colloid particles and for accurate reporting to the operator. The apparatus includes a substrate holder for holding the substrate, a processor and memory device, an imaging module, an illumination module, a power module, an input module, and an output module. The apparatus may have a stationary substrate holder and imaging module which are proximate to one another. The apparatus provided for a compact sized system without the need for complex motorized devices to move the camera across the substrate. Further, the apparatus and method provide for automatic detection of the spots/wells on the substrate, automatic quantification of the spots on the substrate, and automatic interpretation of the spots based on decision statistics.
