摘要: There is provided a method of working a plain bearing and a working apparatus of the plain bearing, which make it easy to perform working by forming a plurality of inclined surfaces of different angles in portions on both sides of the inner peripheral surface of the bearing alloy metal of the plain bearing in the axial direction thereof. In the working method and apparatus, a working holder 18 is provided which has a groove 20 extending on the inner peripheral surface in the peripheral direction and portions on both sides of the groove in the transverse direction formed in step-like shape, a half bearing 11 is housed in the working holder 18, and both ends of the half bearing 11 in the peripheral direction are pressed by use of pressing means 24. Then, the half bearing undergoes plastic deformation so as to be fitted into the groove and both sides of the half bearing in the axial direction thereof come into abutment with the edges 22, 23 of the step-like portions and are deformed in a polygonal line form. In this state, both ends of the half bearing 11 in the axial direction thereof are cut along one cylindrical surface by use of a broach 19. As a result, two inclined surfaces of different angles are continuously formed in the portions of both sides of the bearing alloy metal 13 of the half bearing in the axial direction thereof.

摘要: Disclosed is a bearing structure of a sliding bearing which is held in a housing and which rotatably supports a rotary shaft. At least one of the outer surface of the sliding bearing and the inner surface of the housing is covered with a coating layer which essentially consists of, by weight, a total amount of not more than 90% of solid lubricant and hard particles in which the solid lubricant is of 3 to 50% and the hard particles are of 1 to 50%, and the balance of polyamideimide resin.

摘要: A sealing material for a scroll-type compressor consists essentially of, by weight, more than 20 and up to 40% PAN-system carbon fiber, 1 to 15% polytetrafluoroethylene resin, and the balance of polyphenylene sulfide resin. Further, not more than 10% hard particles formed of a copper alloy are added to the foregoing components. Thus, there can be provided a sealing material which can be applied to scroll members of a high surface hardness which have undergone Tufram process or Ni-P plating.

摘要: A sliding member obtained by molding a resin composition comprising an aromatic polyamide fiber, a polytetrafluoroethylene, a lead oxide and at least one other heat resistant synthetic resin, the aromatic polyamide fiber being in a proportion of 10 to 30% by volume based on the total volume of the aromatic polyamide fiber, the polytetrafluoroethylene, the lead oxide and the other heat resistant synthetic resin, the polytetrafluoroethylene being in a proportion of 5 to 20% by volume based on the total volume, and the lead oxide being in a proportion of 0.1 to less than 5% by volume based on the total volume, and provided that the total of the aromatic polyamide fiber, the polytetrafluoroethylene, the lead oxide and the other heat resistant synthetic resin equals to 100% by volume.
