摘要: A Static Random Access Memory (SRAM) having a split write control is described. The SRAM includes bit, write, and write-word lines. Each memory cell within the SRAM includes a delay which is coupled to a dedicated write-word line. When a cell is not being written, its delay receives a delay signal on its associated write-word line, which increases the response time of the cell. When a cell is to be written, however, its delay receives a bypass signal on its associated write-word line, which decreases the response time of the SRAM cell.

摘要: A radiation hardened memory element includes at least two delay elements for maintaining radiation hardness. In an example, the memory element is an SRAM cell. Both delays are coupled together in series so that if either one of the delays fails, a delay will still be maintained within the SRAM cell. The critical areas of the delays may be positioned so that a common line of sight cannot be made between each delay and a circuit node.

摘要: A universal joint having a cross-member journal or trunnion with a lubrication chamber includes a combination of a thrust washer and lubrication baffle press fit into the lubrication chamber. The thrust washer and lubrication baffle incorporate one or more lubrication grooves, facilitating the flow of lubricant between the surfaces of the cross-member and bearing cap. Elastomeric properties of the thrust washer eliminate the need for grinding of the journal surfaces to desired tolerances, while incorporation of lubrication grooves into the thrust washer surface eliminates the need for pressing of lubrication grooves directly into the journal ends prior to hardening or heat treating.

摘要: A process for the patterning of a desired substance on a surface includes: (i) charging a particle formation vessel with a compressed fluid; (ii) introducing into the particle formation vessel a first feed stream comprising a solvent and the desired substance dissolved therein and a second feed stream comprising the compressed fluid, wherein the desired substance is less soluble in the compressed fluid relative to its solubility in the solvent and the solvent is soluble in the compressed fluid, and wherein the first feed stream is dispersed in the compressed fluid, allowing extraction of the solvent into the compressed fluid and precipitation of particles of the desired substance; (iii) exhausting compressed fluid, solvent and the desired substance from the particle formation vessel at a rate substantially equal to a rate of addition of such components to the vessel in step (ii) through a restrictive passage to a lower pressure whereby the compressed fluid is transformed to a gaseous state, and wherein the restrictive passage includes a discharge device that produces a shaped beam of particles of the desired substance at a point beyond an outlet of the discharge device, where the fluid is in a gaseous state at a location before or beyond the outlet of the discharge device; and (iv) exposing a receiver surface to the shaped beam of particles of the desired substance and selectively depositing a pattern of particles on the receiver surface.

摘要: A method, system, and apparatus for the collection, analysis, and disposal of controlled substances are described. A collector receives an excess of controlled substance and stores the controlled substance so that unauthorized access is minimized. An analysis determines the chemical composition and concentration. The results of the analysis are reviewed and reconciled against information in an overseeing authority information system or against information provided by the depositor of the controlled substance or both. The controlled substance is disposed of once it has been confirmed that the substance deposited in the collector is the same substance claimed to be deposited and the same substance issued by the pharmacy or other qualified authorities.
