摘要: The present technology relates to a signal processing apparatus, a signal processing method, a program, and a signal transmission system realizing an SDI (serial digital interface) capable of effectively transmitting an audio stream together with video data, for example, of which the frame rate is 100 Hz or 120 Hz. An audio multiplexing unit multiplexes an audio sample into a data area of horizontal lines of n2 (here, 2≤n2≤n1) rows after a first horizontal line in which the audio sample is generated, which is a predetermined data area arranged within a horizontal blanking area disposed for each horizontal line of video data in a data stream defined in a format of an SDI used for transmitting the video data, in a case where an audio is sampled at an interval of once or less for horizontal lines of n1 (here, n1≥2) rows of the video data of a predetermined frame rate. For example, the present technology can be applied to a broadcast camera.

摘要: A signal conversion device includes a first converting section configured to convert a clock signal input through a first signal line, a data signal input through a second signal line, and a control signal input through a third signal line, into pulse signals including a first pulse train and a second pulse train; and a transmitting section configured to transmit the first pulse train through a fourth signal line and the second pulse train through a fifth signal line, wherein the control signal is a signal that, through a level transition, causes a control target device to switch between an active state and an inactive state, and wherein the first converting section is configured to put successive pulses into at least one of the first pulse train and the second pulse train in response to the level transition of the control signal.

摘要: Apparatus and methods for combining metadata with video into a video stream using a 32-bit aligned payload, that is computer storage efficient and human discernable. The metadata is stored in a track in a self-describing structure. Metadata track may be decoded using an identifier reference table that is substantially smaller than typical fourCC identifier tables. The combined metadata/video stream is compatible with a standard video stream convention and may be played using conventional media player applications that reads media files compliant with MP4/MOV container format. The proposed format may enable decoding of metadata during streaming, partitioning of combined video stream without loss of metadata. The proposed format and/or metadata protocol provides for temporal synchronization of metadata with video frames.

摘要: Ways to generate, store, and distribute optimized content are described. Content modification operations including color correction are stored as metadata that is embedded in each content item. The metadata is extracted in order to eliminate or update the modification operations. Modification operations are updated based at least partly on profiles associated with one or more content provision elements. The profiles include device profiles and codec profiles. Each profile may be specific to a particular element or be a generic profile associated with multiple elements. The profiles are generated based on evaluation of the devices and codes and are stored as entries in a look up table. When content is provided, the profiles are used to optimize the content for display.

摘要: A multimedia time warping system allows a user to store selected multimedia data streams while the user is simultaneously watching or reviewing other multimedia data. Data streams are converted to digital streams for internal transfer and manipulation. A parser and event buffer decouple the CPU from having to parse the digital stream. Video segments are stored on a storage device and when data is requested for display, its video segments are extracted from the storage device and sent to a decoder that converts them into display output signals and delivers the display output signals to a display.

摘要: A method and apparatus for creation, distribution, assembly and verification of media, including one embodiment, media is transmitted to a receiver where the receiver assembles the media into programming. In another embodiment, media is transmitted to the receiver from a plurality of sources. In a further embodiment, a source of media performs a tagging operation to associate sets of tags with elements of the stream of media. In various embodiments, different combinations of look-and-feel, content and other tags are associated with the media stream. In an additional embodiment, tagging of the media stream is performed at the receiver. A user at the receiver may also provide data about the user to the receiver. In yet another embodiment, the receiver uses the tags to assemble the media into a program. In still further embodiments of the invention, various Royalty Only Aggregate Revenues or “ROAR” models and apparatus are disclosed.
