摘要: A battery module and a method are provided. The battery module includes a first battery cell having a first electrical terminal, a second battery cell having a second electrical terminal, and an interconnect assembly having a plate portion, a first finger portion, and a first voltage sense member. The first voltage sense member is coupled to the first finger portion. The first electrical terminal has a first terminal portion disposed directly on and coupled to a first voltage sense wall of the first voltage sense member. The second electrical terminal has a first terminal portion disposed on and coupled to the first terminal portion of the first electrical terminal such that the first terminal portion of the first electrical terminal is sandwiched between the first voltage sense wall of the first voltage sense member and the first terminal portion of the second electrical terminal.

An electrode lead connecting structure according to the present disclosure includes a printed circuit board, first and second electrode-integrated sensing busbars provided at a lowest level of one side edge of the printed circuit board and at a highest level of an opposite side edge of the printed circuit board, respectively, a first sensing busbar group located on the first L-shaped end strip busbar at the one side edge, and a second sensing busbar group located under the second L-shaped end strip busbar at the opposite side edge.

The plurality of battery cells are arranged in parallel between the first electrically conductive fabric and the second electrically conductive fabric within the enclosed region. Each of the plurality of battery cells is configured to establish an electrical connection, at least temporarily, with the first battery terminal through the first electrically conductive fabric and the second battery terminal through the second electrically conductive fabric.

摘要: Battery modules for unmanned and human piloted electric aircraft comprise two planar substrates with electrochemical cells secured between to form load-bearing structural components from which aircraft with greater endurance can be constructed. The cells can be oriented perpendicular or parallel to the substrates, and in the latter case the substrates can include slots that the cells fit into. The cells can be secured to the substrates by adhesives, welding, soldering and the like, as well as by mechanical tensioners. Battery modules can be formed to the shapes of aircraft parts such as wings. Multirotor aircraft are disclosed in which the arms and other parts of the aircraft are constructed from such battery modules.
