摘要: A method for producing a composition containing a latex of a nitrile rubber of α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer unit of 8 to 60 wt % content, and an iodine value of 120 or less, an isothiazoline-based compound represented by formula (1), and a benzisothiazoline-based compound represented by formula (2), both in a content of 26 ppm by weight or more to the rubber, wherein adding both compounds to the latex at 2,000 ppm by weight/min or less, at 50° C. or lower, and the compounds in an aqueous state having 0.1 to 40 wt % concentration. formula (1), R1 and formula (2), R4 represents a hydrogen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted organic group; wherein formula (1) R2 and R3 represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or an substituted organic group; and formula (2), R5 represent a hydrogen atom, or an substituted organic group, and an integer “n” of 0 to 4.

摘要: An improved superhydrophobic coating and a process of making it is provided herein. More particularly, a robust superhydrophobic coating is produced by using carbon dioxide to enhance the integration of a binder material into the superhydrophobic coating. The carbon dioxide may be used to infiltrate and fill the interstitial voids of a superhydrophobic material, such as diatomaceous earth. Consequently, occupying these voids in the superhydrophobic material effectively blocks other components (e.g., binders) from entering the voids. As a result, the coating formulations of the present invention are more robust and may strongly adhere to the substrates to which they are applied.

摘要: A polymer nanocomposite composition, wherein nanoparticles, preferably graphene oxide, are well dispersed within a polymer matrix, preferably thermoplastic polyurethane in one embodiment. Affinity of the nanoparticles to one of the phases of the polymer matrix, preferably a hard segment of the thermoplastic polyurethane, provides enhanced mechanical properties. Processes for preparing the polymer nanocomposite compositions are described. In a preferred embodiment, an extensional dispersing element is included within the screw configuration of an extrusion process.

More particularly, the present invention relates to a transfer polyester film and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein the transfer polyester film has a coating layer with an excellent releasing property so that at the time of forming a hard coating layer in order to impart a surface gloss to an interior product, the transfer polyester film may be attached to a surface of the hard coating layer so as to allow the surface of the hard coating layer to be smoothly formed in a step of coating and curing a hard coating solution and may be removed after completely curing the hard coating layer.

摘要: The invention relates to a water based paint composition to be used in a pressurized and sealed aerosol can and which composition contains A) up to 24% w/w of propellant gas which is dimethyl ether (DME); B) up to 76% w/w of coating material, consisting nonvolatile content in the range of 65-95% w/w and volatile content in the range of 5-35% w/w;—which volatile content contains water up to 0-100% w/w and additives, co-solvents and dispersing agents which comprise altogether of 0-9% w/w of volatile liquids, having 0-10% w/w preferably less than 5% w/w of volatile organic compounds (VOC) provided that the aggregate amount of dimethyl ether (DME) and the volatile organic compounds (VOC) in volatile liquids is such that VOC concentration is below 186 g/l (responding about 24% w/w, calculated as DME). In the present invention the nonvolatile content comprises color pigments and possible fillers in the range of 0-30% w/w, polyurethane modified alkyd resin or alkyd resin in the range of 25-99% w/w preferably in the range of 35-90% w/w and additives up to 9% w/w, which resin is present as an emulsified dispersion in water miscible solvent comprising water and dimethyl ether (DME).

The fibrous material can be slit into tapes or tows that are suitable for use in an Automated Tape Laying (ATL) or Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) process. This fibrous material is suitable for forming preforms which are configured to receive a matrix resin by resin infusion in the manufacturing of structural composite parts.
