Abstract:
A process kit is described that resists plasma erosion, preserves the spatial uniformity of plasma properties, reduces particle generation in the chamber, and significantly enhances the lifetime of the process kit. A layer of polymer material covers the top surface of the process kit. The polymer material is fluorocarbon-based and not reactive with the species in the plasma. The polymer material not only protects the process kit from progressive erosion, but also prevents the generation of particles in the chamber. The polymer material has similar permittivity to that of the process kit and therefore maintains the spatial uniformity of plasma properties, e.g., etch rate, near the wafer perimeter. The thickness of the layer is controlled between 0.5 and 1.5 mm such that the difference between its coefficient of thermal expansion and that of the process kit will not cause the layer to peel off the process kit's top surface.
Abstract:
The invention describes an improved process for the preparation of malononitrile by using a porous particulate solid substance as efficient absorbent. Cyanoacetamide is reacted with POCl3 as a dehydrating agent in a suitable solvent in the presence of an organic N-donor base as catalyst and a porous particulate solid substance as efficient absorbent. The product is then distilled under vacuum from the crude in the presence of a stabilizer into a receiver containing the same stabilizer, to obtain malononitrile of high purity and shelf-life.
Abstract:
A technique is described providing offline support to business applications. Offline support allows a business application running on a portable electronic device without connectivity to a backend server to operate as though the business application has access to a backend server. The technique receives a client request to operate the application in an offline mode. The technique then retrieves a business object to be utilized in the offline mode and an event trigger for interacting with the business object. The native programming language is then determined and then an event handler written in a native language of the client device and that is associated with the event trigger is retrieved. The event trigger is then modified to point to the event handler. The business object, event trigger, and event handler are then packaged together.

A technique is described providing offline support to business applications. Offline support allows a business application running on a portable electronic device without connectivity to a backend server to operate as though the business application has access to a backend server. The technique receives a sync request for content from the portable electronic device. A sync task is generated from the sync requests and processed to generate a package that contains the desired content. Once the package is generated, the package is stored in a package repository and a download notification is transmitted to the portable electronic device to notify the user that the package is ready. The package can in turn be delivered to the portable electronic device when a download request is received from the portable electronic device.
Abstract:
Herein is disclosed a magnetic resonance imaging antenna, including an inner conductor, an outer shield slideably displaceable with respect to the inner conductor, and an insulator electrically insulating the inner conductor from the outer shield. Herein is disclosed a biopsy needle antenna, including a magnetic resonance imaging antenna, having an outer shield, and an inner conductor electrically insulated from the outer shield by a dielectric; and a biopsy needle electrically connected to the inner conductor and electrically insulated from the outer shield by the dielectric. Herein is disclosed a method of obtaining a sample with magnetic resonance imaging guidance, including providing a sampling needle magnetic resonance imaging antenna, advancing the antenna to a structure from which the sample is to be taken, detecting magnetic resonance data by the antenna, and coupling the sample to the antenna.
Abstract:
Multi-layer microscale or mesoscale structures are fabricated with adhered layers (e.g. layers that are bonded together upon deposition of successive layers to previous layers) and are then subjected to a heat treatment operation that enhances the interlayer adhesion significantly. The heat treatment operation is believed to result in diffusion of material across the layer boundaries and associated enhancement in adhesion (i.e. diffusion bonding). Interlayer adhesion and maybe intra-layer cohesion may be enhanced by heat treating in the presence of a reducing atmosphere that may help remove weaker oxides from surfaces or even from internal portions of layers.
Abstract:
A “Master-Virtual Machine (VM) framework” is provided that contains a Master-VM, which is a custom built VM for learning about a specified technology, service or product, and an optional host server device that is a custom built portable physical server. The Master-VM framework enables a user to use a single virtual machine (“Master-VM”) from an online source to set up a hands-on lab for learning about a specified application. For example, the user can use the Master-VM to set up a hands-on lab to learn about Hadoop technology. The hands-on lab can include a collection of VMs associated with Hadoop technology framework and various training materials such as documentations, training videos, lab exercises associated with Hadoop technology. The Master-VM can deploy the collection of VMs associated and allow the user to access, explore, evaluate or configure the Hadoop technology framework using the multiple VMs and the training materials.

Abstract:
An apparatus for exposing a region of interest of an object, animal or person to an alternating magnetic field has a source of radio-frequency electromagnetic radiation arranged to provide the alternating magnetic field in an exposure volume defined by the apparatus, and a shield arranged between the source of radio-frequency electromagnetic radiation and the exposure volume. The shield includes a material that has a sufficient thickness and arrangement to reduce power deposition to at least regions outside of the region of interest of the object, animal or person during exposure in the exposure volume.
Abstract:
Composite substrates include a silicon layer disposed on a ceramic layer. Different thermal expansion coefficient for the composite substrates can be achieved by changing the thermal expansion coefficient of the ceramic layer. Composite substrates can include two layers of silicon sandwiching a layer of ceramic.
