Disclosed is a method of saccharifying biomass, such as algae or agricultural by-products by performing a high-pressure extrusion pulverization process for the biomass, such as algae or agricultural by-products, and more particularly to a method of saccharifying biomass, which includes homogenizing and crushing algae or agricultural by-products, and extruding the algae or agricultural by-products through a micro-diameter tube to pulverize the algae or agricultural by-products. Non-biodegradable polymers, such as cellulose, which is a polysaccharide included in biomass, such as algae or agricultural by-products, hemicelluloses, starch, and complex polysaccharide, are hydrolyzed at high glycosylation efficiency through an eco-friendly pretreatment process using water.

Method and apparatus for measuring an object in a captured image. The method includes: receiving a captured image from a photographing apparatus; selecting a predetermined region on the received image based on a user input; magnifying an image with respect to the selected, predetermined region; obtaining brightness information of the received image; displaying at least one of the magnified image and the obtained brightness information; and selecting the object on the magnified image based on the obtained brightness information. The method may further include: obtaining pixel information of the received image; and measuring the selected object based on the pixel information.

The present invention relates to a short range wireless communication device for providing an application service based on an area. In particular, an apparatus for providing an application service based on an area in a small cell including a femtocell base station or a WiFi Access Point, the apparatus including a communication unit to receive a list of application services from an Application Service Provisioning Server, select and download at least one application service from the received list, an application service database to store the at least one downloaded application service, a service controller to install the at least one downloaded application service, or uninstall an installed application service, a user equipment access detector to detect a user equipment entering or exiting a service area, and a user equipment database to store an identifier and information of the user equipment entering or exiting the service area.

A system for detecting and diagnosing a faultive state of an airplane engine, including: at least one vibration sensor attached to an airplane; a reference model database construction unit; and a fault detection and diagnosis unit which estimates a parameter of a model, obtains a test variable and a numerator coefficient value difference of a transfer function between the models, and the covariance of parameter estimation error, and diagnoses the faultive state and the faultive cause of the airplane engine. Accordingly, the present invention can determine the faultive state and the detective cause of the airplane engine using the vibration data of the airplane engine.

Disclosed are an automatic position information transmission system and a method using a wireless data network capable of improving convenience of search by registering icons associated with keywords on search screens of corresponding mobile phones and registering icons representing a search position range on the search screens while improving convenience of use by automatically transmitting position information regarding the corresponding mobile phones during a call attempt to a pre-authorized specific mobile phone through a wireless Internet network and automatically transmitting the position information regarding the corresponding mobile phones for each predetermined period or at the time of a call connection failure. The automatic position information transmission system and the method using the wireless data network can automatically transmit the moving routes or positions of children to the mobile phones of a parent as being previously set without performing the separate operations on the mobile phones.
