摘要： A remote signaling receiver system includes a receiver that operates in two different modes of demodulation to accommodate different types of signals from different types of transmitting devices. A first demodulator, preferably an ASK demodulator, is adapted to process signals from a signal transmitter that generates a first type of signal. A second demodulator, preferably one that is not sensitive to amplitude modulation such as a FSK demodulator, is adapted to process signals received from at least one other type of device, which provides a second type of signal. A system designed according to this invention is particularly useful as a remote keyless entry system for a vehicle where one or more sensors are provided on the vehicle to provide an indication of a chosen condition of one or more of the vehicle components.

In a second operational mode, the transmitter upconverts a tone signal having a frequency ωM using the same RF upconverting signal. The upconverted tone signal can be used as a continuous wave (CW) carrier signal having a frequency ωC. The transmitter has a single RF oscillator to output both a SSB signal centered at frequency ωC during the first mode and a carrier signal of frequency ωC during the second mode.

摘要： A gas discharge laser crystallization apparatus and method for performing a transformation of a crystal makeup or orientation in a film on a workpiece is disclosed, which may comprise a master oscillator power amplifier MOPA or power oscillator power amplifier configured XeF laser system producing a laser output light pulse beam at a high repetition rate and high power with a pulse to pulse dose control; an optical system producing an elongated thin pulsed working beam from the laser output light pulse beam. The apparatus may further comprise the laser system is configured as a POPA laser system and further comprising: relay optics operative to direct a first output laser light pulse beam from a first laser PO unit into a second laser PA unit; and, a timing and control module timing the creation of a gas discharge in the first and second laser units within plus or minus 3 ns, to produce the a second laser output light pulse beam as an amplification of the first laser output light pulse beam. The system may comprise divergence control in the oscillator laser unit. Divergence control may comprise an unstable resonator arrangement. The system may further comprise a beam pointing control mechanism intermediate the laser and the workpiece and a beam position control mechanism intermediate the laser and the workpiece. Beam parameter metrology may provide active feedback control to the beam pointing mechanism and active feedback control to the beam position control mechanism.

The powder overspray extracted from the booth is separated from the high flow air stream by and then discharged to a feed center. By recovering overspray powder in this fashion, the time required for a color change operation in the powder spray system is greatly reduced.

摘要： A material supply for a material application system such as a powder coating application system includes a feed hopper in the form of a duct. The duct is connectable to negative pressure during a color change process and is disconnected from the negative pressure during a spray application process. The negative pressure can be provided from a powder overspray recovery system such as an after filter blower. Dampers are provided to control air flow through the hopper duct and to allow the duct to be at ambient pressure during a supply mode of operation. The hopper duct also includes a suction interface for pumps, in the form of a siphon ring, as well as a fluidizing function. A removable sieve is provided with an optional vibration feature. Powder may be added to the duct via an access door or transfer pumps for new powder and/or reclaimed powder overspray.

摘要： A holographic optical element (HOE) device is mounted in wireless optical telecommunication system transceiver. The HOE device includes a developed emulsion material having an interference pattern recorded thereon, sandwiched between a pair of elements, such as a pair of clear glass plates. In operation, the HOE device uses the recorded interference pattern to diffract received light rays towards an optical processing unit of the system receiver. A transmitter unit can be positioned at least in part behind the HOE device. An opening in the emulsion material allows a light signal transmitted from the transmitter unit to be substantially unaffected by the recorded interference pattern. The transceiver can also include a spotting scope and an alignment beacon.
