    Abstract: An apparatus for sorting cells includes a cell alignment portion applying a process to a cell-suspending fluid with a great number of cells and arraying the cells with a spacing between each cell, a cell information detecting portion detecting information on the cells, a cell sorting portion for sorting the cells based upon the information detected by the cell information detecting portion, a first passage of the cell alignment portion so as to let the cell-suspending fluid flow, and a second passage of the cell alignment portion, intersecting with the first passage so as to communicate therewith, letting a splitting fluid flow so as to split the flow of the cell-suspending fluid in the first passage and forming a great number of small cell-containing liquid drops.

When a write command is input to a command system circuit, a write data fetch command is repeated twice, and write data PD is fetched for each 8 bits to a data latch portion and the data latch portion writes the input write data PD of 16 bits to the non-volatile memory in batch.

    Abstract: An electrically heated pot for heating the keeping warm a liquid includes a vacuum container having a vacuum region formed between the outer surface of a cylindrical internal tank and the inner surface of an external tank. The internal tank has an opening at one end. A cylindrical reservoir tank for accomodating the liquid to be heated is removably located within the internal tank through the opening. The central portion of the reservoir tank is in close contact with the inner surface of the internal tank, while an end portion thereof opposite the opening is shaped to define with the internal tank a heater mounting room. A thermostatically controlled electric heater is mounted on the surface of the reservoir tank in the heater mounting room and is removable with the reservoir tank through the opening. A power supply wire connected to the heater is led to the outside of the vacuum container along the length of the reservoir tank to the outside of the container through the opening through a guide groove formed in either the inner surface of the internal tank or the outer surface of the reservoir tank or through a guide pipe passing through the reservoir tank. A handle frame removably holds the vacuum container and has a pivoted lid for closing the opening and a bellows pump is provided on the lid for pressurizing the reservoir tank for discharging heated liquid.

    Abstract: An inkjet recording apparatus includes an ink particle generation unit that makes a pressurized ink injected from a nozzle into particles, a charging unit that electrically charges the ink particle of those subjected to particulation, which corresponds to a dot to be printed, a polarizing unit that polarizes the electrically charged ink particle in a polarizing electric field, a collection unit that allows a gutter to collect the ink particle corresponding to the dot that is not printed, and a character forming unit that forms a character as a dot matrix on a printing object. A phase detection charging signal is applied to the ink particle that is not used for printing when forming the dot matrix character so as to detect an optimum charging timing in a process of forming the dot matrix character.
