Abstract:
An apparatus comprising a base having base threads and a flexible assembly having assembly threads, wherein said base threads and the assembly threads are capable of interfacing to connect the base to the flexible assembly, wherein the flexible assembly is capable of contracting in response to the application of torque when the assembly is connected to the base, and wherein the contracting of the assembly presents a visual, tactile or audible indication that a sufficient amount of torque has been applied to connect the flexible assembly to the base.
Abstract:
The invention relates to apparatus driving circulation in baths, pools and the like, comprising a pump powered by a drive, further a filter section consisting of a housing and a cover, a filter being configured in said housing and being kinematically linked by hookup elements to the cover in a manner that said filter moves jointly with said cover.
Abstract:
A beverage filter or treatment bottle system has a bottle, lid, and a beverage improvement component such as a filter element. A filter element may be positioned to separate the interior space of the bottle into a filtered beverage compartment and an unfiltered beverage compartment. A tube passes through the filter into fluid communication with the filtered beverage compartment. The tube extends through the unfiltered beverage compartment to a nozzle in the lid of the bottle. A lid cover is fastenable onto the lid to enclose and close the nozzle. A filter cartridge may be provided. A UV sterilizer may be provided. An air bypass may be provided.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a filtering apparatus for treating ballast water. The apparatus is constructed so that a housing cover plate and an exhaust unit are removably coupled to each other at an upper position of a housing. The exhaust unit includes a base flange on a portion thereof coupled to the housing cover plate and the base flange includes a projecting step that projects to be inserted into a core through hole formed in the housing cover plate. A core serving as a discharge passage of foreign substances includes a shaft coupling unit on a portion thereof coupled to the driving shaft, and is coupled at the shaft coupling unit to the driving shaft via a coupling structure. The outer diameters of the coupling structure and the shaft coupling unit are formed to be smaller than the outer diameter of the core.
Abstract:
An oil/coolant module for a combustion engine, includes an oil filter, an oil/water heat exchanger, a water pump, and a coolant treatment system comprising a water filter and containing treatment additives for a coolant circuit.
Abstract:
A gravity flow water filtration cartridge with a novel sieve system. The sieve system comprises an air vent and a shroud. The sieve system is attached or welded onto a housing bottom or barrel. An air permeable material covers the opening of the air vent.
Abstract:
A filter housing unit having a housing which has inlet and outlet passages, a bottom formed to hold the filters lower end, a filter with a cylindrical center shaft which is accessible through the housings top which is sealed closed with a screw on cap that has a center exit passage which also serves to locate the filters upper end. The caps exit passage flows into a fluid column area allowing filtered fluid to connect with the housing exit passage.Fluid flows from the inlet through the filter up the center shaft into and out of the cap to the housing exit passage. A filter can be easily replaced by removing the cap making the filter accessible, removing filter and replacing it with a new clean filter and replacing the cap.
Abstract:
A filter element for a motor vehicle for filtering a fluid has engaging and/or receiving elements that are designed to be connected to an adapter ring. The engaging and/or receiving elements have several hooks for engaging recesses of the adapter ring, and are arranged uniformly spaced in a circumferential direction about an central axis of the filter element. A filter set includes the filter element and the adapter ring, wherein the adapter ring deactivates a locking device of a first housing part that receives the filter element.
Abstract:
A filtration system includes a housing having an inlet, an outlet, a first chamber fluidly connected to the inlet, a second chamber fluidly connected to the outlet, and a wall separating the first and second chambers. The system also includes a removable filter assembly, at least a portion of the filter assembly being disposed within the first chamber of the housing. The system further includes a lid removably connected to the housing. The lid includes a passage fluidly connecting the first and second chambers.
Abstract:
A system for removing sediment from water is disclosed. The exemplary embodiments described herein disclose a system comprising a filter chamber, having a deck positioned inside to divide it into an upper chamber and a lower chamber. The deck may have a plurality of holes to hold filtration elements and also may have a ridge or a skirt or both. An inlet line may be tangentially connected to the filter chamber and introduce influent liquid into the filter chamber below the deck and outside of the skirt.
