The battery pack includes an upper end cover provided above cylindrical cells to protect an inside of the battery pack, a first metal panel positioned below the upper end cover and jointed to the upper portion of the cylindrical cells, a second metal panel jointed to a lower portion of the cylindrical cells, a holder configured to surround and fix an outer side surface of the entire cylindrical cells and the lower portion of the second metal panel, and a lower end cover positioned below the second metal panel and the holder to form a lower end portion of the battery pack.

摘要： A battery system for providing electric power to a vehicle includes an assembly having battery cells. The battery system also includes a shear wall that is arranged along a lateral side of the assembly to provide structural support. The shear wall is two-part, including a first element and a second element, both of which may be formed from sheet metal and welded together. The first element has a first flange extending away from the lateral side of the assembly, and the second element has a second flange. The first flange and the second flange are layered together to form an interface. The flanges are welded together at the interface, proximal to the assembly, to form a resulting flange that is thicker than either individual flange and that may be mounted to a frame member. The battery system may also include another shear wall on the opposite lateral side.

摘要： A battery pack, a method of heating a battery cell and an electrical combination. The battery pack may include a housing; a battery cell; a heating element operable to provide heat to the battery cell; a temperature sensing device operable to sense a temperature of an interior of the battery pack; a heating switch operable to control whether power is provided to the heating element; and an electronic processor configured to receive a signal from the temperature sensing device, the signal indicating the temperature of the interior of the battery pack, determine that the temperature of the interior of the battery pack is less than a predetermined temperature threshold, and in response to determining that the temperature of the interior of the battery pack is less than the predetermined temperature threshold, close the heating switch to provide power to the heating element.

An exemplary fusible thermal interface material may be disposed between a grouping of battery cells and a heat exchanger plate for limiting the transfer of thermal energy associated with a battery thermal event from moving from cell-to-cell and/or compartment-to-compartment within the traction battery pack. The fusible thermal interface material may be configured to transition from a conductor to an insulator when a temperature exceeds a predefined temperature threshold.

The battery box includes a controller, a first sensor, and a spraying apparatus and an extinguishing agent pipeline that are located above a battery module. The controller is electrically connected to the first sensor and the spraying apparatus. The spraying apparatus is connected to the extinguishing agent pipeline. The first sensor is configured to detect a temperature of the battery box, and send a first electrical signal to the controller. The controller is configured to control the spraying apparatus to spray an extinguishing agent to the battery module. According to the solution of this application, when thermal runaway occurs in the battery box, and the temperature exceeds a set threshold, a fire may be extinguished in time, to avoid spreading of the fire and reduce a loss.
