摘要: Methods and systems are described for a media guidance application that limits the incentive for authorized users to share content with unauthorized users, while still allowing users to access content virtually anywhere. Specifically, the media guidance application allows an authorized user to receive only a portion of a media asset that he or she is authorized to access on a different device, after a designated time period, and/or when the remaining portion of the media asset is inaccessible.

摘要: Response delay associated with a state-based client-server application can be reduced with utilization of an application state server-side cache. A server caches data for a set of one or more possible states of a client-server application that may follow a current state of the application. The server rapidly responds to a client request with data that corresponds to an appropriate new state of the application in accordance with the application state server-side cache. The server determines that the application will transition to the appropriate new state from the current state of the application with the application state server-side cache based, at least in part, on an operation indicated by the client request.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for synchronizing a document markup modification across a plurality of devices. One method comprises subscribing to one or more events occurring in a first document markup application and receiving a notification indicating a modification to a document markup in the first document markup application. A markup object associated with the modified document markup may be extracted and translated to a cross-compatible markup object. The cross-compatible markup object is transmitted to a second document markup application to be rendered and displayed to a user.

摘要: A secure communication system according to the present disclosure includes a digital license plate installed on a vehicle and a server wirelessly connected to the digital license plate. The server includes one or more server processors and a non-transitory computer-readable server storage medium storing with one or more programmed instructions which, when executed by one or more server processors, cause the server processors to perform: receiving an image and a request to display the image at the digital license plate, verifying whether the image is digitally signed by an authorized party, refusing the request if the image is not digitally signed by the authorized party, and requiring the digital license plate to be unable to display the image.

摘要: An interface server (e.g., Web Application Open Platform Interface (WOPI) server) is communicatively connected to an information management (IM) server and to an online application server which acts as a client of the interface server. When a user wishes to open, create, or edit a document in an online application hosted by the online application server, the interface server is called, instead of the IM server which manages the document at the backend of an enterprise computing network. The interface server is configured for obtaining a working copy of the document from the IM server and providing the working copy to the client. The client provides the working copy to the online application for display on the user device. When the work is done, the working copy is sync'd back through the interface server to the IM server as a new draft and deleted by the interface server.

The data transaction processing system minimizes overall latency by optimizing which transaction processors and results arbiters are responsive to specific client computer input requests or messages.

摘要: A system can selectively synchronize content based on synchronization settings. In some examples, a client stores a local tree representing a local set of content items associated with an account on a content management system, the local tree including respective local nodes corresponding to the local set of content items. The client stores a remote tree representing a remote set of content items associated with the account, the remote set being stored at the content management system and including respective remote nodes corresponding to the remote set of content items. The client receives a synchronization setting disabling local storage of the content item. In response, the client deletes a local copy of the content item, removes a corresponding local node from the local tree, and adds, to a remote node on the remote tree, an attribute indicating that local storage of the content item has been disabled.

In one aspect, the systems and methods enable users from any geographical location to send requests to the geographically closest proxy infrastructure. One exemplary method described allows proxy infrastructures to gather, classify, and store metadata of exit nodes in its internal database. In another aspect, systems and methods described herein enable proxy infrastructures to select metadata of exit nodes from its internal database and forward requests from a user device to respective proxy servers or proxy supernodes to which the selected exit nodes are connected.

The wrapper includes a dispatcher and a service. The dispatcher receives the communication and is data agnostic. The communication corresponds to end user credentials for an end user. The method and system include providing the communication from the dispatcher to the data source and to the service. The method and system also use the service to authenticate the end user based on the end user credentials and utilizing federated identity management.
