    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for automatically updating firmware of components of a server system. For example, the method may include: downloading OS image file from a vendor, mounting downloaded OS image file to the server system via a virtual media (VM) A, automatically generating a universal serial bus (USB) read/write image containing a firmware image for VM B use, mounting the USB read/write image to a VM B, sending a command to a controller of the server system to set a boot disk via the VM A, rebooting the server system, and enabling an update service to automatically mount updated firmware image to the VM B.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for automatic hardware recovery. In some examples, a system can receive a notification of a device failure of a peripheral component interconnect express device associated a node. The system can also receive a first request to disconnect a link between the peripheral component interconnect express device and the node, and a second request to connect, after disconnecting the link, a replacement peripheral component interconnect express device with the node. The system can then reconfigure a peripheral component interconnect express switch fabric to disconnect the link between the peripheral component interconnect express device and the node, and connect the replacement peripheral component interconnect express device with the node.

    Abstract: A system and method for providing security key exchange and management prior to the operating system of the server and also provides for executing various security functions to prevent a virus or malicious software from propagating through the server and the network. The system and method utilize the BIOS firmware and baseboard management controller (BMC), which are more secure since they do not rely on open source code for software plug-ins from the user layer. As a result, a secure code can be created for key management with a globally unique identifier (GUID). The system and method provides for a network manager to easily and flexibly manage multiple security keys for a rack server system.

    Abstract: The present invention presents an electronic device. The electronic device includes a socket and a supplementary antenna. The socket is disposed on the electronic device, wherein the socket includes an accommodating portion for accommodating an external wireless communication module inserted from the outside. The supplementary antenna is disposed in the electronic device, wherein when the wireless communication module is completely inserted into the accommodating portion, the main antenna of the wireless communication module and the supplementary antenna become electromagnetically coupled; and wherein when the wireless communication module is completely inserted into the accommodating portion, the electronic device transmits/receives wireless signals using the main antenna and the supplementary antenna together.

The first and second openings are located at two opposite ends of the containing space.
