Abstract: A display device having a high display quality is provided. A display device that can perform desired display without image data conversion is provided. The display device includes a first pixel. The first pixel includes a first light-emitting element, a color conversion layer, and a first memory circuit. The first light-emitting element exhibits blue light. The color conversion layer has a function of converting light emitted by the first light-emitting element into light having a longer wavelength. A first image signal and a first correction signal are supplied to the first pixel. The first memory circuit has a function of retaining the first correction signal and a function of adding the first correction signal to the first image signal. The first pixel has a function of displaying an image using the first image signal and the first correction signal.

Abstract: A composite device with a high security level is provided. A composite device capable of inhibiting unauthorized use favorably is provided. The control portion has a function of bringing a system into an unlocked state when the authentication portion authenticates a user and a function of comparing the first fingerprint data obtained by the detection portion and the second fingerprint data when the detection portion detects a touch, and bringing the system into a locked state in the case where those data do not match.

Abstract: A display device having high light-extraction efficiency is provided. A low-power display device is provided. In a red or green pixel included in the display device, a light-emitting element, an optically functional layer, and a wavelength-conversion layer are stacked in this order. The light-emitting element emits blue light, the optically functional layer transmits the blue light and reflects red and green light, and the wavelength-conversion layer converts the blue light into red or green light. The blue light emitted by the light-emitting element passes through the optically functional layer and enters the wavelength-conversion layer, and red or green light is emitted to the outside. The red or green light emitted from the wavelength-conversion layer to the optically functional layer side is reflected by the optically functional layer and emitted to the outside, which improves light-extraction efficiency.

One of a source and a drain of the first transistor is electrically connected to the first light-emitting diode through the second conductive layer. One of a source and a drain of the second transistor is electrically connected to the second light-emitting diode through the third conductive layer. The first conductive layer supplied with a constant potential is electrically connected to the other electrodes of the first and second light-emitting diodes through the fourth conductive layer.

Abstract: A display apparatus having a wide range of threshold voltage compensation function is provided. In the display apparatus, a p-channel transistor is used as a driving transistor of the light-emitting device. Discharging is performed through a source-drain path while constant voltage is supplied to a gate so that Vth is extracted between the gate and the source. In addition, when a drain potential is set to the sum of forward voltage and a cathode potential of the light-emitting device or a potential sufficiently lower than the sum, it is possible to continue the discharging even when Vth is positive voltage. That is, compensation can be performed even in the case where Vth variation occurs from positive voltage to negative voltage.

The first element is electrically connected to the first pixel circuit, performs display with first brightness on the basis of the first state, performs display with second brightness on the basis of the second state, and performs display using the image signal on the basis of the third state. The first brightness is darker than the second brightness.

Abstract: The cost of hardware and the cost of calculation are reduced in the case where a plurality of assembled batteries are used. The amount of change in the voltage of each battery constituting an assembled battery is sequentially measured with a voltage monitor and abnormality is detected from the correlation between the amounts of changes in the voltages of batteries at the same period. Furthermore, abnormality is detected on the basis of the amounts of changes up to the previous step. Inference is made by a reference parameter acquisition system using an IIR filter or an FIR filter.

Abstract: A high-definition liquid crystal display device is provided. A liquid crystal display device with a high aperture ratio is provided. A liquid crystal display device with a high contrast ratio and display quality is provided. A liquid crystal display device capable of being driven at a low voltage is provided. The display device includes, between a pair of substrates, a pixel electrode, a first common electrode, a second common electrode, and a liquid crystal layer. The pixel electrode and the first common electrode are positioned between the liquid crystal layer and one of the substrates. The second common electrode is positioned between the liquid crystal layer and the other substrate. The same potential is supplied to the first common electrode and the second common electrode. The first common electrode includes a portion overlapping with the second common electrode between the display regions of two adjacent subpixels that exhibit different colors. At least one of the pixel electrode and the first common electrode includes a portion that does not overlap with the second common electrode in the display region of the subpixel.
