Abstract:
A multi-channel recording method and a multi-channel recording apparatus capable of time-shifting in plurality of channels are provided. The multi-channel recording method includes: selecting a channel among a plurality of time-shift channels; decoding and displaying a transport stream of the selected channel while storing transport streams broadcast on the plurality of time-shift channels; deleting the transport stream of the selected channel when a new channel is selected, decoding and displaying a transport stream of the newly selected channel while storing the transport streams broadcast on the plurality of time-shift channels.
Abstract:
A video contents recording apparatus and a method of managing a data storage medium include: a data storage medium in which a plurality of contents are recorded; and a controller displaying a list of contents to be deleted generated from the contents recorded in the data storage medium to a user via a display unit according to a predetermined delete priority and deleting contents selected by the user from the data storage medium with reference to the list. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a recording space of a data storage medium having limited data storage capacity may be efficiently managed by automatically deleting contents stored in the data storage medium according to a predetermined priority selected by a user or by providing a delete list for referring to when the user determines contents to be deleted.
Abstract:
The present invention enables a user to receive a financial service anywhere through a mobile terminal equipped with a UIM (User Identification Module) electronic card. In the present invention, a user enters his or her password to a mobile terminal with a UIM card including subscriber telephone number, finance, authorization, and personal information, then, if the entered password is correct, authorization is processed with a remote authorizing server based on the authorization information. After authorization, user's requesting service, e.g., payment service, transaction particulars inquiry service, prepaid card recharging service is conducted through a mobile network.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for compensating for a difference in picture quality caused by a burn-in effect on a screen of a display device are provided. The apparatus for compensating for the difference in the picture quality includes: an A/D conversion unit providing digitalized picture information by converting an analogue picture signal; a compensation area setting unit setting up area to be compensated for the difference in picture quality caused by the burn-in effect according to the picture information provided; a screen compensation processing unit adjusting at least one of brightness and contrast according to the picture information provided so as to balance an entire screen by decreasing the difference in picture quality caused by the burn-in effect; and a picture output unit outputting a picture signal generated by converting the picture information adjusted into the picture signal.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bulletproof, shock-absorbing helmet and, more particularly, to a bulletproof, shock-absorbing helmet having undulations formed in the surface of an outer helmet so that incoming shells are deflected by the sloped surfaces of the undulations, and also having shock absorbing means provided in a space between the outer helmet and an inner helmet to absorb shocks and prevent injury due to shocks that would otherwise be transmitted to the head and neck regions of the wearer when shells are deflected. While a previously registered bulletproof helmet may have the effect of being able to deflect incoming shells instead of having them penetrate through it, it is problematic because the strong shock from an incoming shell is directly transmitted through the helmet body to the head and neck of the wearer, causing injury. This danger of injury becomes a factor that lowers the morale of troops and reduces the level of precision shooting ability and mobility that are required in modern warfare. Another problem was that problems arose in terms of tactical strategy. The present invention provides a bulletproof, shock-absorbing helmet having deflecting undulations formed in the outer surface of the outer helmet so as to minimize the area through which a shell can directly enter and maximize the deflecting area. In order to absorb external shock from shells and maintain a buffer space between the outer helmet and the inner helmet on the inside of the outer helmet, the bulletproof, shock-absorbing helmet comprises: a plurality of first shock absorbing means provided around the perimeters of the inner and outer helmets; second shock absorbing means provided at the top; and third shock absorbing means provided on the inside of the inner helmet. Thus, the life of the wearer can be protected, and injury to the head and neck regions can also be prevented.
Abstract:
A driving assist system for a vehicle and a method thereof includes a broadband camera which photographs the surrounding area of the vehicle to create an image including four channels of light information having different wavelengths. The broadband image data and the position of the vehicle are matched so that a road and an obstacle are easily recognized using a minimal number of cameras while driving the vehicle. Recognition performance of a drivable area is significantly improved, navigation for the vehicle is easily measured, and thebiometric recognizing abilities of a driver monitoring camera is improved, thereby improving the convenience of a driver by the improvement of a the performance of a driving assist device.
Abstract:
In a supercritical fluid method a supercritical fluid is supplied into a process chamber. The supercritical fluid is discharged from the process chamber as a supercritical fluid process proceeds. A concentration of a target material included in the supercritical fluid discharged from the process chamber is detected during the supercritical fluid process. An end point of the supercritical fluid process may be determined based on a detected concentration of the target material.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sensor-integrated chip for a CCD camera in which a CCD sensor, an H/V driver for driving the CCD sensor, and an ISP (Image Signal Process) chip, which inputs a control signal for driving the CCD sensor to the H/V driver and allows a video to be displayed on a monitor (not shown) in response to an output signal from the CCD sensor, are stacked and connected with each other by inter-pad wire bonding into one IC package to be one chip, by an SIP (system In Package) method.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an electronic component-embedded printed circuit board including: a base plate including an insulating resin layer and circuit layers; and an electronic component embedded in the insulating resin layer, wherein the insulating resin layer has a thickness 1.3˜3 times greater than that of the electronic component. The electronic component-embedded printed circuit board has an optimum thickness ratio of its constituents in order to minimize the warpage thereof at the time of manufacturing the same.
Abstract:
An electric double layer capacitor and a method for manufacturing the same, in which one or more projections are formed on an inner bottom surface of a lower case, which is a concave container made of ceramic, in a the process of sequentially stacking a lower electrode, a separator, and an upper electrode in the lower case and covering the lower case with a sealing plate. It is possible to eliminate the process of injecting a bonding liquid and strongly connect the lower electrode and the upper electrode to the lower case and the sealing plate, respectively, by means of the projections, thus preventing the occurrence of a short circuit and reducing the equivalent series resistance.
