    Abstract: A light emitting device includes a base having a light reflecting surface and having a first side on which the light reflecting surface is provided, light sources mounted on the first side, and a half mirror disposed opposite to the base to reflect a part of incident light and to transmit another part of the incident light. Each of the light sources includes a reflecting layer on an upper surface of each of the light sources. The half mirror has an oblique reflectance with respect to wavelengths of light emitted from the light sources in a case where the light travels obliquely toward the half mirror. The half mirror has a perpendicular reflectance with respect to the wavelengths in a case where the light travels perpendicularly toward the half mirror. The oblique reflectance is smaller than the perpendicular reflectance.

    Abstract: A light-emitting device includes: a base member that includes conductor wirings; a light-emitting element that is mounted on the base member and emits first light; a wavelength conversion member that is disposed on or above an upper surface of the light-emitting element and is adapted to absorb at least part of the first light and emit second light with a wavelength longer than a wavelength of the first light; a light-reflective film that is disposed on an upper surface of the wavelength conversion member; and an encapsulating member that covers the light-emitting element, the wavelength conversion member, and the light-reflective film. Each surrounding portion has inclined lateral surfaces that widen in an upward direction. An aperture in each second surrounding portion is smaller than an aperture in each first surrounding portion in the plan view.

Each of the plurality of surrounding portions has inclined lateral surfaces widened upward. Intervals between adjacent ones of the plurality of light sources are constant in the plan view. Upper peripheries of the inclined lateral surfaces of each of the plurality of surrounding portions define an opening having a substantially rectangular shape. The plurality of surrounding portions include a plurality of first surrounding portions and a plurality of second surrounding portions surrounding the plurality of first surrounding portions. An area of the opening of each of the plurality of second surrounding portions is smaller than an area of the opening of each of the plurality of first surrounding portions.

The light reflecting resin member surrounds the light emitting element. The sealing member is disposed in a region surrounded by the light reflecting resin member. The lens member is disposed above the light emitting element to reach an outer edge of the substrate. The light emitting element is mounted on the base. The first surface faces the support surface. The reflecting film is provided on the second surface of the light emitting element. The light-transmissive covering member is provided on the base on a side of the support surface to cover the light emitting element and a covered region of the base except for an uncovered region of the base. An average reflectivity in the uncovered region of the base with respect to a peak emission wavelength of light emitted from the light emitting element is higher than an average reflectivity in the covered region of the base with respect to the peak emission wavelength of light.

    Abstract: A light emitting device includes a support member, a light emitting element, and an underfill material. The support member includes an insulating member and positive and negative electrically conductive wirings arranged on the insulating member. The electrically conductive wirings are insulated and separated from each other by an insulating region arranged between the positive and negative electrically conductive wirings. The insulating separation region includes a first region disposed on an outer side with respect to the light emitting element and a second region disposed directly under the light emitting element. The first region includes an underfill arranging portion in which an interval between the electrically conductive wirings is wider than in the second region. The underfill material is arranged to extend from the underfill arranging portion to the second region in a space formed between the support member and the light emitting element.
