摘要： Disclosed are systems and methods to enable a multiple users browsing content offerings on multiple devices to have their selections played by a content playback device using its own authentication credentials. The users can then continue to browse the content offerings on their multiple second displays without interrupting the content that is playing on the main content playback device. The method is an architecture design and implementation that allows users to navigate, browse, and search content offerings on a second display such as a smart phone, PC, laptop, tablet, internet appliance, or any other device with a capability to couple to a network. Concurrently, while a user is using the content playback device, another user can perform browsing activities on a second display and send a media selection to a primary content playback device of the user's choice for queueing and/or playback.

摘要： Computer-implemented methods and systems are presented for creating, displaying and interacting with a space-time focal density map indicating aggregate user engagement within video contenbased on user-initiated movements of a display device. User engagement may be tracked and stored at an individual user level as well as aggregated into the statistical compilation. The engagement data may be presented as a visual layer overlaid with the video content against which the engagement data was collected, effectively displaying a temporal interest heat map over the video content. A graphical representation of the engagement data may be displayed along with the heat map that includes axes representing a spatial dimension (e.g., degrees or radians from the center of the video) and a temporal dimension (e.g., the top of the graph represents the start of the video, and the bottom the end).

In example embodiments, the method includes identifying a user profile registered with a content presentation device based on received identification data that includes biometric data. The method further includes receiving, from a server, identifiers of a set of recently watched channels associated with the user profile and causing presentation of a recent channels interface that includes selectable elements corresponding to the set of recently watched channels.

摘要： An Internet protocol low noise block downconverter (IP LNB) assembly, which is within a satellite dish assembly, may be operable to determine one or more baseline settings of the satellite dish assembly. The IP LNB assembly may monitor, periodically or aperiodically, one or more current settings that may correspond to the determined one or more baseline settings to identify deviations of the one or more current settings from the baseline settings. The results of the monitoring may be communicated to a satellite service provider. The satellite service provider may provide maintenance and/or service management for the satellite dish assembly based on the communicated results of the monitoring. The IP LNB assembly may determine a location setting via a GNSS module and determine an alignment setting via a directional sensor in the IP LNB assembly. The IP LNB assembly may determine a received signal strength based on a RSSI.
