    摘要: A method is provided for obtaining crystalline dealuminized products by treating a slurry of a crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite in an aqueous solution of an ammonium or alkali metal salt which upon acidification yields an anion which complexes with aluminum by adding to said slurry a water-soluble acid having a first ionization constant greater than 10.sup.-2 at a rate such that a controlled amount of aluminum is removed from the zeolite to yield a resulting product from which at least about 10% and as much as about 85% of the initial aluminum has been removed while retaining more than 60% of the original crystallinity.

    摘要: A new synthetic porous crystalline material, designated EMM-1, is disclosed having, in its calcined form, the X-ray diffraction pattern of Table 2 above. Also disclosed are methods of making EMM-1 in the presence of HF using various organic nitrogen compounds as directing agents. Aluminum-containing EMM-1 can be produced either by inclusion of Al in the synthesis, or by incorporation of B or Ga in the synthesis, followed by post treatment with aluminum nitrate or other sources of Al. EMM-1 is useful as an acid catalyst and as an adsorbent.

    摘要: The sulfur content of liquid cracking products, especially the cracked gasoline, of a catalytic cracking process is reduced by the use of a catalyst having a product sulfur reduction component containing a metal component in an oxidation state greater than zero, wherein the average oxidation state of the metal component is increased by an oxidation step following conventional catalyst regeneration. The catalyst is normally a molecular sieve such as a zeolite Y, REY, USY, REUSY, Beta or ZSM-5. The metal component is normally a metal of Groups 5, 7, 8, 9, 12 or 13 of the periodic table, preferably vanadium or zinc. The sulfur reduction component may be a separate particle additive or part of an integrated cracking/sulfur reduction catalyst. A system for increasing the oxidation state of the metal component of a Gasoline Sulfur Reduction additive is also provided.

    摘要: Disclosed is a multistage process for converting lower aliphatic oxygeanated hydrocarbon feedstock to hydrocarbon product rich in benzene, toluene and/or xylene which comprises:contacting said oxygenated hydrocarbons in a primary stage with a medium pore shape selective acidic zeolite to an intermediate hydrocarbon product comprising predominantly aliphatic hydrocarbons;contacting at least a portion of the aliphatic hydrocarbons from the primary stage with a secondary stage catalyst comprising gallium-promoted medium pore shape selective zeolite characterized by a constraint index within the approximate range of 1 to 12 and a silica to alumina ratio of about 20 to 100:1; thereby producing benzene, toluene and/or xylene.
