摘要： A method and apparatus for recording information on an information recording medium and/or reproducing information from the recording medium. Probes for recording and/or reproducing information and a support for supporting the probes are arranged so that the probes are positioned to face the information recording medium. The support and the information recording medium are relatively moved by sliding on sliding surfaces thereof. The distance between the support and the recording medium is roughly set by projections formed between the support and the recording medium, and is finely adjusted during operation by a mechanism for moving the probes.

摘要： Disclosed is a position detecting apparatus for detecting a relative position of two objects which are relatively moved. The apparatus includes a probe, a probe driving device, a position detecting device and an object driving device. The probe is provided for the first of the two objects so as to face the surface of the second of the two objects, so as to read information from the surface of the second object. The probe driving device allows the probe to two-dimensionally scan the surface of the second object so that the probe reads the two-dimensional information from the surface of the second object. The position detecting device detects a relative positional relation of the two objects by comparing the two-dimensional information obtained by the two-dimensional scan of the probe by the probe driving device with reference to two-dimensional information. The object driving device executes the relative positioning of the two objects on the basis of the result of the detection of the position detecting device.

摘要： A plate member reversing system adapted for sequentially reversing and transferring a plurality of plate members, includes a second delta robot, a reversing device and a second transfer device. The second delta robot is configured such that it sequentially holds the plate members and transfers and places them onto the reversing device. The reversing device, onto which the plate member is transferred and placed in a horizontal position by the second delta robot, is configured such that, while the transferred and placed plate member is being held by application of suction with its upper surface in an open state, it reverses the upper and the lower surfaces of the plate member. In addition, the second transfer device receives the reversed plate member from the reversing device and transfers it in a reversed state and in a horizontal position.

摘要： A method and an apparatus of manufacturing an image displaying apparatus having an electron source substrate and a phosphor substrate. The electron source substrate is provided with an electron emitting element formed by covering with a container and by applying a voltage to an electronic conductor on the substrate. While, the phosphor substrate is provided with a phosphor thereon. The substrates are subjected to a getter processing and to a seal bonding process under a vacuum condition through a processing chamber, to complete an image forming apparatus. An improvement resides in miniaturizing and simplifying operation, and in greater manufacture speed and mass production.
