摘要: A fuel-cell-system providing structure is provided which is capable of preventing a collision of a fuel cell with a related apparatus of the fuel cell while suppressing the increase in weight of a vehicle. A fuel cell system provided in a vehicle includes: a fuel cell unit in which a fuel cell is contained; and a related apparatus that is electrically connected to the fuel cell and that is located adjacent to the fuel cell unit. The related apparatus is arranged at a position closer to an outer surface of the vehicle than the fuel cell unit.

摘要: In a fuel cell vehicle of the present invention, a floor panel is constructed to have a center tunnel formed to extend in a front-back direction of the vehicle. A fuel cell system is at least partly located below the center tunnel and includes at least one fuel cell stack and a hydrogen gas supply assembly constructed to supply a hydrogen gas to the fuel cell stack. At least one of a front end and a rear end of the center tunnel extended in the front-rear direction of the vehicle is open to outside of the center tunnel. The center tunnel is continuously inclined to have a greater height at a location closer to the at least one open end thereof. In the event of leakage of the hydrogen gas during a vehicle stop time, the fuel cell vehicle of this arrangement desirably enables the leaked hydrogen gas to be smoothly introduced and released out of the vehicle.

摘要: A vehicle is equipped with fuel cells that is fastened to multiple side frames 810 arranged in parallel to each other and along a moving direction of the vehicle. The vehicle includes a support assembly arranged to span between the multiple side frames 810, a first fixation unit arranged to fasten the support assembly to the respective side frames 810, and a second fixation unit arranged to fix the fuel cells on the support assembly. This arrangement desirably reduces the influence of an external force applied to the fuel cells mounted on the vehicle and prevents an increase in total weight of the vehicle or a decrease in mounting space of the fuel cells.

摘要: An internal combustion aircraft engine comprising a cylinder head having a cylindrical head bore formed therein, a piston, and spark plugs, the cylinder head bore and piston designed to reduce engine knock. The cylinder head is fixedly attached to a top end of a cylinder barrel formed with cylindrical walls, the cylinder head bore and the cylindrical walls defining a cylinder. The cylinder head bore has formed therein an outwardly protruding cavity with respect to the top end of the cylinder barrel. The piston has a piston crown, and the piston contained within the cylinder, the piston crown, the cylinder walls, and the cylinder head bore define a combustion chamber. The piston crown has a concavity formed therein, and the piston is constructed and arranged to reciprocate within the cylinder. The concavity of the piston crown and the cavity cooperate at a top dead center position of the piston to form a swirl chamber. The piston crown has formed along a peripheral edge thereof a squish area that corresponds to a second squish area formed in the cylinder head bore, so that when the piston approaches top dead center, the squish area and the second squish area cooperate to cause combustion gases to move radially inward of the combustion chamber and into the swirl chamber. Spark plugs extend through the cylinder head, the tips of which are disposed within the swirl chamber.

摘要: A display device having a memory property capable of maintaining a displayed information even in a state of being separated away from a power source as a result of decreasing the effect of external noise. The display device is detachably attached to a control unit that includes a drive circuit and a power source for driving the display device. The display device has a memory property and maintains the displayed image even in a state of being detached from the control unit. An input protection portion which is an electric load such as resistor, IC or capacitor is provided for the input portion leading to matrix electrodes from the connection terminals for electrically connecting the display device to the control unit. This prevents the infiltration of noise through the connection terminals and lowers a change in the displayed image.

摘要: A leadless chip carrier is constructed in such a manner that each of the electrode terminals is made to be recessed from the insulation layer of the bottom surface of the carrier so as to have a difference in level between the bottom surface and at least a part of the electrode terminal. Because of such construction, when the electrode terminals are bonded to the conductors of the printed circuit board in the reflowing method, molten solder is collected in the recessed portions of the electrode terminals besides each portion of the insulation layer positioned between the electrode terminals prevents flowing of the molten solder in the recessed portion, so that strength and reliability in the bonding are remarkably improved.
