摘要: Bottomed first regions 23a′ and 23b′, and second regions 24a′ and 24b′ are formed by joining film 14 to undersurface 21 of chip body 12 of a micro-channel chip. Third regions 25a′ and 25b′ are formed between first regions 23a′ and 23b′, and second regions 24a′ and 24b′ so as to be located on carbon inks 16a and 16b. The width of third regions 25a′ and 25b′ is formed so as to be greater than the width of carbon inks 16a and 16b.

摘要: A micro-channel chip can be coated uniformly with a thin inorganic oxide film and can prevent an ionic hydrophobic substance from adsorbing through a surface of an inorganic oxide film. In the micro-channel chip, surfaces of inner walls of through-holes in an upper plate member and a channel of a lower plate member are entirely coated with a SiO 2 film. The SiO 2 film is formed of two layers, namely a bottom layer that contains a high content of carbon atoms and is formed in a part that contacts a resin substrate, and a surface layer that contains nearly zero content of carbon atoms and t is formed in a part that is exposed on the surface of a channel.

摘要: A power conversion device includes: an inverter that converts a DC current supplied from a DC power source to an AC current by engaging a plurality of switching elements, which constitute an upper arm, and a plurality of switching elements, which constitute a lower arm, in switching operation; a control unit that includes a signal generation unit that generates a switching signal carrying a command for execution of the switching operation in correspondence to each of the plurality of switching elements constituting the upper arm and the plurality of switching elements constituting the lower arm, and outputs the switching signal thus generated as a control signal; and a drive unit that individually drives each of the switching elements based upon the corresponding control signals. The control unit includes a plurality of protection circuits disposed in series on a control signal line extending between the signal generation unit and the drive unit, with each of the protection circuits outputting a control signal having been input thereto when a protective operation is not executed but outputting a control signal for setting the corresponding switching element either in a cut-off state or in an electrically continuous state in place of the control signal input thereto when the protective operation is executed.

摘要: A folding circuit and an analog-to-digital converter wherein a response to small signals is improved, a load on a clock signal can be reduced, and the increase of circuit area can be prevented. The circuit includes a reference voltage generating circuit that generates a plurality of differential voltages as reference voltages, and a plurality of amplification circuits that convert differential voltages between the plurality of reference voltages and an analog input voltage to differential currents, and output these differential currents. The output ends of the amplification circuits are alternately connected. Each of the amplification circuit is configured by a differential amplifier circuit having cascode output transistors (145, 146). A switch (144), which is turned on in synchronization with the control clock, is provided between the both sources of the cascode output transistors (145,146).

摘要: A load driving and diagnosis system controls the feed and block of a load current flowing into an inductor such as a solenoid. The load driving and diagnosis system holds a counter-electromotive force, which is developed when the load current is blocked, at a voltage higher than a supply voltage so that the load current will decay for a short time. When an overcurrent condition is established in the load driving and diagnosis system because of a short circuit to a power supply, a malfunction of a circuit or destruction thereof may take place. In addition to a voltage holding means that holds a switching circuit output voltage at a predetermined voltage, a voltage holding means having a different predetermined voltage set therein is included. Moreover, a selection switch that switches the predetermined voltages according to a detected overcurrent condition is included.
