摘要: A method for removing soot or the like adhered to heat transfer tubes of a heat-exchanger by providing a steel ball scatterer above the heat transfer tubes and intermittently scattering steel balls towards the heat transfer tubes, is improved. The improvements reside in that a steel ball scattering rate is set to a small initial rate at the commencement of the scattering operation and thereafter is increased either in a stepwise manner or continuously. Preferably, within a main body casing of the heat-exchanger, a plurality of steel ball collision preventing plates having their central portions extending convexly upwards are provided between the steel ball scatterer and the heat transfer tube group, in order to prevent fins of the heat transfer tubes from being damaged by steel balls falling from the steel ball scatterer and directly colliding against the fins.

摘要: An information display method displays brain activity information calculated using a biological signal measured from a living body so as to be superimposed on a morphological image including a plurality of sectional images. The information display method includes: acquiring mask information representing an area belonging to a brain in the morphological image; and detecting one or more extremal value positions with spatial extremal values in the brain activity information based on the mask information. A sectional image corresponding to the one or more extremal value positions is acquired from the morphological image. A brain activity distribution corresponding to the sectional image is acquired. The brain activity distribution is displayed so as to be superimposed on the sectional image.

摘要: In a revolution type compressor using a balance weight for balancing a rotating mass, the effect of oil churn reduction is enhanced, and compressor input is reduced. A balance weight fixed to a drive shaft between a rotor of an electric motor 4 and a compression mechanism includes a weight portion in a substantially semicircular column shape for balancing a rotating mass, a cover portion which is substantially semi-cylindrical and has an opening in the vicinity of a top and bottom at an opposite side in a radial direction from the weight portion, and a hollow space surrounded by the weight portion and the cover portion. Further, a space for discharging oil is provided between the balance weight and the rotor. By the structure, reduction in oil churn, and reduction in input of the compressor are realized, and the compressor with less power consumption is obtained.

摘要: A rear apron panel is provided between a suspension tower and a dash panel. A vertical branch brace is provided to extend upwardly from a front side frame along an inner face of a suspension tower to form a closed cross section with a rear portion of the suspension tower. A deformation restraint member interconnects the apron frame and the vertical branch brace. Accordingly, there is provided a vehicle-body front structure which can restrain the apron frame from deforming outwardly in the vehicle width direction in the vehicle frontal collision to prevent the dash panel from moving back into the vehicle compartment too much.

摘要: A scroll compressor is provided in which the amount of lubricant oil supply is appropriately controlled over a low to high rotational frequency range of the scroll compressor. The scroll compressor has an oil supply unit and an oil supply passage. The oil supply unit includes a small hole with a diameter not exceeding a seal ring width of the sealing part and a groove which are formed on the end plate of the boss portion on the back side of the orbiting scroll. As the orbiting scroll orbitally moves, oil in the high pressure hydraulic chamber pools in the small hole to be discharged, across the seal ring, into the back pressure chamber. The oil supply passage communicates between the high pressure hydraulic chamber and the back pressure chamber.
