    摘要: An information processing apparatus includes: a data capturing unit controlling a recording medium containing video data and capturing encoding target data; a characteristic extraction unit receiving the encoding target data and extracting a characteristic point, at least including a dividable point, of the encoding target data as a preprocess for encoding; a storage unit storing the encoding target data; a memory unit storing information about the characteristic point extracted by the characteristic extraction unit; a dividing unit dividing the encoding target data into predetermined pieces of divided data; and encoding units encoding the divided data into divided encoded data. The dividing unit determines a dividing point, at which the encoding target data are substantially equally allocatable to the encoding units, on the basis of the total number of the encoding units and the information about the characteristic point, and then allocates the divided data to the encoding units.

The external disturbance load compensator executes a program including: a step of sensing a vehicle state; a step of sensing environmental information on the surroundings of the vehicle; a step of performing an external disturbance load calculation; a step of determining whether or not to permit an external disturbance load change based on the environmental information; when it is expected that the vehicle is about to move based on the environmental information, a step of suspending an external disturbance load change; when it is expected that the state of the vehicle does not change based on the environmental information, a step of calculating distribution ratio of a braking force to the main control system (brake) so as to cancel an engine torque change by the external disturbance load change.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus is provided which forms images on both a concavo-convex sheet having a concavo-convex surface on which is formed many concavities capable of receiving toner and from which toner can be removed, and a general-purpose sheet which is not specially processed. The image forming apparatus has a first mode for forming an image on a general-purpose sheet, and a second mode for forming an image on a concavo-convex sheet. In the first mode, a general-purpose sheet receives a transferred toner image in the image forming region, and thereafter is guided to a fixing unit, where the toner is fixed on the sheet. In the second mode, a concavo-convex sheet receives a transferred toner image in the image forming region, and thereafter does not pass through the fixing unit but is guided to a convexity cleaning unit, where toner adhered to the convexities of the concavo-convex sheet during transfer is removed.

    摘要: A method for chemical-mechanical polishing of a layer that is deposited on a surface of an integrated circuit substrate is described. The method includes: (1) immobilizing the integrated circuit substrate using a substrate holder such that the integrated circuit substrate surface is positioned against a surface of a polishing pad, which is mounted on a supporting surface; (2) a first stage of polishing the substrate surface including maintaining a predetermined difference between the rotational velocity of the polishing pad and the rotational velocity of the substrate holder allowing an endpoint of the chemical-mechanical polishing process of the layer to be detected; and (3) a second stage of polishing the substrate such that the rotational velocity of the polishing pad and the rotational velocity of the substrate holder are substantially the same to produce a substantially planar substrate surface.
