In a transmission, a large-diameter gear included in a plurality of gears on rotatable shaft members is soaked at its lower part in lubrication oil contained in a lubrication oil storage region formed at a lower portion of a case and scoops up the lubrication oil when rotated. A receiver extending in the axial direction of the large-diameter gear collects the scooped-up lubrication oil and flows the collected lubrication oil toward lubrication portions. The receiver has a vertical wall which enables the lubrication oil scooped up and splashing above the receiver to collide therewith, to flow down on a surface thereof and to be introduced to a collecting portion of the receiver, and an introducing portion which enables the lubrication oil splashing toward between the receiver and the large-diameter gear to flow on a surface thereof and to be introduced to the collecting portion by the inertia force thereof.

The present invention provides a wholly aromatic liquid-crystalline polyester consisting of the repeating units represented by formulae (I), (II), (III) and (IV): wherein: the molar proportion of the repeating unit represented by formula (I) based on the total repeating units constituting the wholly aromatic liquid-crystalline polyester is 40-80 mol %; the molar ratio of the total amount of the repeating units represented by formulae (II) and (III) to the repeating unit represented by formula (IV) is from 90/100 to 100/90; the molar proportion of the repeating unit represented by formula (II) based on the total amount of the repeating units represented by formulae (II) and (III) is 80-99.9 mol%; and the two “—O—” attached to the benzene ring in formula (III) are positioned meta or para to each other and “Ar” in formula (IV) represents a bivalent aromatic group. The wholly aromatic liquid-crystalline polyester of the present invention exhibits excellent dielectric properties in high frequency regions as well as good mechanical properties such as impact strength.

A sugar-containing soybean protein material is produced by mixing a soybean protein raw material with a reducing sugar and performing a heat treatment at a temperature higher than 100° C. and 170° C. or lower for 10 sec to 300 sec at pH 6.3 to 8.0, followed by a hydrolysis treatment. Further, a sugar-containing soybean protein material in which protein is contained in an amount of 80% by weight or more on a dry weight basis, the 0.22 M TCA solubility is 5% by weight or more, 180 μmol of more of sugar is bound per g of protein and the content of β-conglycinin in protein by the ELISA method is 35% or less, or a soybean protein material for a coffee whitener in which the 0.22 M TCA solubility is 15% by weight or more and 30% by weight or less, the protein solubility is 80% by weight or more, and the total content of β-conglycinin and glycinin by SDS-PAGE is 30% or less is used. By using these soybean protein materials having high emulsifiability, emulsions and foods and drinks can be obtained.
