    摘要: This invention provides a heating device ensuring sufficient adhesive force, even when it is removed from clothing and then reattached to different clothing. The heating device of the present invention comprises a bag unit 2 containing an exothermic composition A including an oxidizable metal that can generate heat by contact with air, one surface of the bag unit 2 being air-permeable; an adhesive layer 3 formed on the other surface of the bag unit 2; a first release sheet 4 provided on the adhesive layer 3 to cover the adhesive layer 3; and a second release sheet 5 provided on the first release sheet 4 to cover the first release sheet 4, wherein the first release sheet 4 has a release portion 41 and a residual portion 42; when the second release sheet 5 is removed from the first release sheet 4, the release portion 41 is removed together with the second release sheet 5 and the residual portion 42 remains on the adhesive layer 3.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a personal cooling device, in particular a device incorporating ice. There is provided a personal cooling device comprising an envelope at least partially formed of partially liquid permeable material surrounding an absorbent material, the envelope having a sealable opening into which ice or another frozen material can be inserted. The absorbency of the absorbent material being sufficient to absorb the majority of water with only a small proportion of the water passing though the permeable material.

    摘要: A temperature controlled cosmetic treatment facial mask with area-specific treatments of the present invention includes a substantially planar mask body which is formed with cut-outs for a person's eyes, nose, and mouth. The mask may include a number of large and small area treatment zones in combination with asymmetrical treatment zones suitable for treatment of specific and localized skin conditions. The treatments zones are coated with skin treatments, such as compounds, lotions, gels, and the like as are known in the facial treatment, cosmetics, spa and medical industry. The mask may include a self-heating or cooling substrate to provide temperature control to the face mask and each mask may include heating areas, cooling areas, or both. A system is also provided that includes an imaging device that feeds its output to a central computer system having an image analyzer, CPU, memory and Look Up Table, and face map for determining specific treatment requirements for the particular patient. An output from the central computer system is provided to a treatment deposition device which deposits various treatments onto an intermediate membrane layer to generate a custom temperature controlled facial mask with area-specific treatments for that particular patient.

    摘要: A container is provided that has a compartment for storing an air-activated material for heating contents. The compartment is formed between a first web of material and a second web of material. The first web includes a first film layer laminated to a second film layer. A portion of the first film layer of the first web can be separated from the second film layer to reveal openings in the first film layer that allow air to enter the compartment. When the air contacts the air-activated material to activate the material, an exothermic reaction takes place that serves to produce heat, such as to heat the contents of the container. Prior to separation of the first and second film layers, the container is designed to allow ingress of oxygen into the compartment at a rate less than approximately 3 cc per 100 in2 per 24 hrs. at 23° C.

    摘要: A temperature regulating pad having an air-permeable top layer, a perforated middle layer, and a bottom layer. The perforated middle layer is located between the top layer and the bottom layer. The top layer and the perforated middle layer delimit an upper airspace and the perforated middle layer and the bottom layer delimit a lower airspace. Forced air is received into the lower airspace and flows from the lower airspace into the upper airspace through the perforated middle layer, exiting the air-permeable top layer into an external airspace the said top layer.
