    摘要: There is provided an optical glass suitable for mold pressing having optical constants of a refractive index (nd) within a range from 1.60 to 1.69 and Abbe number (νd) within a range from 35 to 45, having a glass transition point (Tg) within a range from 300° C. to 500° C., being free from devitrification when the optical glass is held at a temperature which is higher by 100° C. than the glass transition point (Tg) for 30 minutes, comprising in mass % on oxide basis: SiO220–less than 40% B2O35–20% Al2O30–5% ZrO2more than 3%–15% Nb2O510–30% MgO + CaO0–less than 5% in which MgO0–less than 5% CaO0–less than 5% SrO0–10% BaO0–10% ZnO0–18% Li2Omore than 5%–15% Na2O1–10% K2O1–10% Sb2O30–1%, and being free from La2O3, TiO2, Ta2O5 and PbO.

    摘要: Provided are optical glasses having a phosphate-containing composition that can materialize highly useful optical properties including high-refractivity and high-dispersion properties; an optical glass comprising P2O5, SiO2 and Li2O as essential components, comprising Na2O and K2O as optional components, having an Li2O/(Li2O+Na2O+K2O) molar ratio of from 1/3 to 1 and having an Abbe's number (νd) of 30 or less, and an optical glass comprising P2O5, SiO2 and Li2O as essential components, having the property of transmittance that when light is caused to vertically enter one of two plane and mutually parallel optically polished surfaces of a sample of the glass having a thickness of 10.0±0.1 mm and caused to exit from the other surface, the wavelength at which the transmittance represented by the ratio of transmitted light intensity to incidence light intensity (transmitted light intensity/incidence light intensity) comes to be 70% is 510 nm or less, having a refractive index (νd) of 1.80 or more and an Abbe's number (νd) of 30 or less and having a liquidus temperature of less than 1,000° C.

    摘要: A low-fire, low-dielectric ceramic composition is disclosed. The ceramic composition comprises a mixture of finely divided particles consisting of 30-90% by volume of calcium borosilicate glass and 10-70% by volume of fillers consisting essentially of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and amorphous SiO.sub.2, which can be densified up to 95% at temperatures of 800-1000.degree. C. The sintered body produced thereby exhibits a dielectric constant in the range of 6-9 and a dielectric loss in the range of 0.01%-0.5% at 1 MHz. The ceramic composition can be processed with organic solvent, polymeric binder and plasticizer to produce a green sheet which is co-firable with high electrical conductivity metal such as gold, silver, silver-palladium and copper.
