    摘要: The present invention discloses a memory module and a method of arranging a signal line of the same. The method of arranging a signal line of a memory module comprises: classifying a plurality of memories into a first group including an odd number of memories and a second group including an even number of memories; arranging first branch points corresponding to the plurality of memories and respectively connecting the first branch points to the plurality of memories through first signal lines; arranging a second branch point located at a middle of the second group for respectively connecting between the first branch points adjacent to each other of the second group and between the first branch points adjacent to the second branch points and the second branch point through second signal lines; arranging a third branch point located at a middle of the second group, receiving an external signal, and connecting the third branch point and the second branch point of the second group through a third signal line; and connecting between the second branch point of the second group and the first branch point of the first group through a fourth signal line.

    摘要: A method of forming a carbon nanotube whereby the carbon nanotube has a fine diameter. To form the carbon nanotube, a polyimide layer is formed on an electrode deposited on a substrate. A plurality of protrusions are formed on the electrode by etching the polyimide layer and the surface of the electrode. A catalyst layer is formed on the surface of the electrode between the protrusions. The carbon nanotube on the catalyst layer is grown. The carbon nanotubes have fine diameters so that the use of the carbon nanotube in a device may reduce the operating voltage and can improve a field emission characteristic of the device.

    摘要: A plasma display panel using carbon nanotubes is provided. In the front panel of the plasma display panel, transparent electrodes are formed as strips on the glass substrate. Bus electrodes are each formed as strips along the outer edge on the upper surface of each of the transparent electrodes and in parallel to the transparent electrodes. A dielectric layer is formed on part of the glass substrate, parts of the transparent electrodes, and the bus electrodes. Carbon nanotube strips are aligned on the dielectric layer such that the carbon nanotube strips face the transparent electrodes. A protective layer is formed on part of the dielectric layer and the carbon nanotube strips. Accordingly, the secondary electron emission characteristic is improved, resulting in a high-quality display screen having a high luminous efficiency and a high contrast ratio.

    摘要: A field emission backlight unit for a liquid crystal display (LCD) includes: a lower substrate; first electrodes and second electrodes alternately formed in parallel lines on the lower substrate; emitters disposed on at least the first electrodes; an upper substrate spaced apart from the lower substrate by a predetermined distance such that the upper and lower substrates face each other; a third electrode formed on a bottom surface of the upper substrate; and a fluorescent layer formed on the third electrode. Since the backlight unit has a triode-type field emission structure, field emission is very stable. Since the first electrodes and the second electrodes are formed in the same plane, brightness uniformity is improved and manufacturing processes are simplified. If the emitters are disposed on both the first electrodes and the second electrodes, and a cathode voltage and a gate voltage are alternately applied to the first electrodes and second electrodes, the lifespan and brightness of the emitters can be improved. The above advantages are also achieved as a result of the method of driving the backlight unit and the method of manufacturing the lower panel thereof.

The apparatus includes a reflection mirror for reflecting light beams with all of the wavelengths, at least one filter for transmitting only at least one light beam with a specific wavelength and reflecting light beams with the other wavelengths, and a medium located between the reflection mirror and the filter, through which the incident light beams and the reflected light beams pass, wherein the three light beams are combined into a single light beam within the medium which single light beam then exits the apparatus. A method of combining separate light beams having different wavelengths is also disclosed.
