摘要:
A silicone mold comprising and oxidized, patterned surface and a layer of perfluoroether silane release agent is described. The mold enables 2nd generation silicone molds to be replicated, i.e. silicone molds from silicone molds.
摘要:
A container, such as a metered dose inhaler, suitable for use with a propellant-based medicinal formulation, the container comprising one or more treated metal surfaces that come into contact with the medicinal formulation, wherein the one or more treated metal surfaces are characterized by an organic surface treatment compound covalently bonded to the metal surface through a reactive head group selected from either phosphonic acid or carboxylic acid and wherein the organic surface treatment compound is further characterized by an exposed, substantially non-reactive tail group disposed away from the metal surface. Also, metered dose inhaler canisters and valves with treated surfaces.

An antistatic article having an antistatic layer disposed on a substrate is disclosed herein. The antistatic layer is formed from a cationic copolymer, a non-cationic (meth)acrylic polymer, and a crosslinking agent. The cationic copolymer consists essentially of a cationic monomer, a hydrophobic monomer, a crosslinkable monomer, and an optional nitrogen-containing monomer. The substrate may comprise an optical film such as a multilayer optical film. Methods for making the antistatic article and display devices containing the antistatic article are also disclosed.
摘要:
An ink receptive article including a substrate having on at least a portion of a major surface thereof an antistatic layer, and wherein the antistatic layer has on at least a portion of a major surface thereof an ink receptive layer, wherein the ink receptive layer includes a crosslinked polymer selected from the group consisting of polyurethanes, polyethers, polyesters, polyacrlylics, polyureas, copolymers thereof, and blends thereof.

This invention relates to antisoiling compositions for antireflective substrates. More particularly, this invention relates to methods for depositing antisoiling compositions onto antireflective substrates. In particular, this invention relates to a method of depositing an antisoiling composition on an antireflective substrate comprising vaporizing an antisoiling composition and depositing the antisoiling composition onto an antireflective substrate. In another aspect, this invention relates to method of preparing an antireflective film stack comprising depositing an antireflective layer onto the surface of a transparent substrate and vapor depositing an antisoiling layer onto the surface of the antireflective layer. In yet another aspect, this invention relates to a method of depositing an antisoiling composition on an antireflective coated ophthalmic lens comprising vaporizing an antisoiling composition and depositing the antisoiling composition onto an antireflective coated ophthalmic lens.

摘要:
The present invention relates to optical elements comprising fluorochemical surface treatments. The invention further relates to materials such as retroreflective sheetings, pavement markings and beaded projection screens comprising a binder and the surface treated optical elements. The fluorochemical surface treatment is substantially free of perfluoroalkyl groups having more than four carbon atoms. Preferably, the surface treatment is a polyfluoropolyether-based compound comprising at least one polar group or polar group-containing organic radical.
摘要:
Normally liquid peroxidic poly(perfluorooxyalkylene) compositions comprising a mixture of peroxidic poly(perfluorooxyalkylene) compounds, derivatives of the poly(perfluorooxyalkylene) compositions comprising a mixture of non-peroxidic polyfluoropolyether compounds, and derivatives of the polyfluoropolyether compositions comprising functional and non-functional derivatives of the polyfluoropolyether compositions are provided. Each peroxidic poly(perfluorooxyalkylene) compound comprises a backbone of randomly distributed perfluorooxyalkylene units, represented by the formulas ##STR1## which when bonded to an --O-- of any of the perfluorooxyalkylene units, forms a peroxy group, --O--O--, which imparts the peroxidic characteristics to the material, and backbone-pendant perfluoroalkoxy groups or perfluoroalkoxy groups substituted with one or more ether oxygen atoms, the terminal ether oxygen atoms of which are bonded to carbon atoms of the ##STR2## backbone units.
