摘要: Electrical welding process and device using intersecting, electrically contacting welding elements are disclosed. The intersecting welding elements are powered out of phase from each other, such that there is no short circuiting around the welding elements being heated and no electrical insulation is needed between intersecting welding elements. Current directors can be used to alternatingly direct the current through the intersecting welding elements. The process and device can be used to weld various workpieces, including thermoplastic binders and folders.

摘要: A hand-held electric sealer with a detachable sealing module includes a casing, a sealing module, and a press bar. The casing includes, among others, a front contact holder which is provided with an engagement hole. The sealing module includes, among others, a lower cover from underside of which extended an engagement piece. The engagement piece of the sealing module can be engaged with the engagement hole of the casing, such that the sealing module can be conveniently attached to, or detached from, the casing, and that replacement of a damaged sealing module can be readily achieved. In addition, for the sealing module dual heating wires may also be employed so as to obtain a desirable sealing effect to plastic bags.

摘要: A machine and method for making bags is described and includes a web , traveling from an input section to a rotary drum, to an output section. The rotary drum includes at least one seal bar, having a first sealing zone, and an adjacent weakening zone. The weakening zone may be a heated perforator, includes a heating wire, or be disposed to create an auxiliary sealed area. The heating wire can have, connected thereto, a source of power that is at an adjustable voltage or magnitude, and/or pulsed, and/or a feedback loop. The heating wire may be an NiCr wire and make intermittent contact with the web and be disposed in an insert. The weakening zone may create a line of weakness that is uniform or varies in intensity, is a separating zone, or includes a heat film, a toothed blade, a row of pins, a source of air, or a source of vacuum. The sealing zones may include temperature zones, cartridge heaters, cooling air, or heated air, or a source of ultrasonic, microwave or radiative energy.

摘要: A tube-joining apparatus capable of stably and reliably joining tubes where liquid is contained and sealed. In a tube joining apparatus, a first clamp (6) and second clamp (7) for pressing and holding tubes (8, 9) are arranged in a contact state. When a second moving mechanism is driven to separate the second clamp (7) from the first clamp (6), the first clamp (6) is slid on the tubes by a shaft (121) supporting the first clamp (6) in a vertically movable manner and is moved from a first position (P1) to a second position (P2). The tubes are squeezed with a pressing force being gradually increased while the tubes are slid between slants (67, 77) of an engagement portion (68) and second engagement portion (78). Residual liquid in the tubes is removed from inside the tubes by the squeezing operation of the first clamp 6. The tubes from which the residual liquid is removed are cut by a cutting plate (41), the tubes are moved by first and second moving mechanisms, and then the tubes are joined.

摘要: A can body with a jacket-like closed wall and a base constructed on one end of the can wall includes an external base covering in the form of a sheet material. The base covering is fixed into position on an annular connection region of the can body. The base covering can form a basically flat imprintable region in a main region that is surrounded by the connection region. If a bar code can be applied in this imprintable region, then a restriction of the configuration possibility of the can wall disappears. The base covering can form a stand region whereby a standing can body is only in contact with the support surface if necessary via the base covering, and consequently the occurrence of corrosion problems is prevented. A retaining device that leaves the base of a held can body free and a position fixing apparatus are used for fixing the base covering into position. A decorative foil on the exterior of the can wall can be overlapped by the base covering, which serves to prevent a detachment of the decorative foil on the base.

摘要: The present invention has a purpose of providing a tube connecting apparatus capable of stably, accurately executing control of wafer temperature even when connecting of tubes is conducted continuously. A tube connecting apparatus (1) includes a heater (70) for heating a wafer holder (5a), a thermister (71) which detects the temperature of the wafer holder (5a), a heater heating control device (69) which controls the heater (70) based on output of the thermister (71), and a wafer heating control device (68) which performs heating control of a wafer (6) through constant power control. Before the start of heating the wafer (6) by the wafer heating control device (68), the control of the heater (70) is performed by the heater heating control device (69) for temperature control so that the wafer holder (5a) is heated to a fixed temperature (about 65° C.).
