Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining channel cross correlation data relating to multiple user equipment (UEs) being served in a cell, wherein the channel cross correlation data comprises a correlation coefficient associated with a first UE of the multiple UEs and a second UE of the multiple UEs, identifying that the first UE is experiencing decreasing throughput, responsive to the identifying that the first UE is experiencing decreasing throughput, determining whether the correlation coefficient associated with the first UE and the second UE satisfies a correlation threshold, and, based on a first determination that the correlation coefficient does not satisfy the correlation threshold, adjusting a downlink (DL) transmit power allocation for transmissions directed to the first UE. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to communicate with a base station on different channels or messages with different processing timelines. In order to prevent a collision between processing communications associated with the different length TTIs, the UE may drop one or more communications on corresponding channels with longer processing timelines to receive and/or process the transmission on the channel with a shorter processing timeline. Additionally, the UE may transmit uplink control information (UCI) for the one or more dropped communications, where the UCI may include hybrid access request (HARQ) acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NAK) feedback, channel quality indicator (CQI), precoding matrix indicator (PMI), rank indicator (RI), etc. If a downlink transmission is dropped, the UE may transmit a NAK message. Alternatively, if an uplink transmission is dropped, the UE may transmit at least a portion of the UCI.

Abstract: A method and device for feeding back downlink channel feedback information, and a method and device for user pairing. The method for feeding back downlink channel feedback information includes: calculating the multi-user channel quality indication error of a user, which error is used to reflect the difference in channel quality indication between the situation of multi-user multiple input multiple output transmission and the situation of single user multiple input multiple output transmission; adding the multi-user channel quality indication error into the downlink channel feedback information which includes a pre-coding matrix indication and a channel quality indication, and feeding the same back to a base station for scheduling. Therefore, the bit error rate of demodulation in the MIMO system can be reduced and the system performance can be improved.

Abstract: Uplink resources for semi-persistent channel state information (SP-CSI) reports and other uplink transport block transmissions may be managed. If resources allocated to the SP-CSI reports overlap, in time, with resources allocated to the uplink transport block transmissions, a determination of whether to drop an SP-CSI report may be made. Various selection criteria may be used to make this determination.

Abstract: A transmission apparatus includes a plurality of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) modulation signal generators, which generate a first OFDM modulation signal and a second OFDM modulation signal. The transmission apparatus also includes a transmitter that transmits the first OFDM modulation signal from a first antenna and the second OFDM modulation signal from a second antenna, in an identical frequency band. A reception apparatus is provided, which includes a plurality of antennas that receive a plurality of OFDM modulation signals; a plurality of OFDM demodulators that transform the plurality of OFDM modulation signals to a plurality of reception signals using Fourier transform; an estimator that outputs a distortion estimation signal using one or more symbols for demodulation included in the plurality of reception signals; and a demodulator that compensates for distortion of the reception signals using the distortion estimation signal and demodulates a data symbol included in the reception signals.

Abstract: A base station includes a processor and a plurality of antennas that transmit, to each of terminals, first and second wireless signals to form first and second beams, respectively, and receive, from each terminal, a third wireless signal including feedback information of the terminal in response to the second wireless signal. The processor selects, from among the terminals, based on the feedback information and a correlation value between the first beam and the second beam, a terminal to which the second beam is optimum, as a first terminal that performs communication via the first beam, or selects a terminal as a second terminal that performs communication via the second beam while communication via the first beam is performed in parallel. The plurality of antennas transmit a fourth wireless signal including data to each terminal apparatus to form the first beam or the second beam.
