摘要: A continuous band-shaped film is guided to a predetermined transport path by a guide roller while separating a protective film, and a single polarizer is supplied to a space between the guide roller and a liftable joining roller disposed above the guide roller so as to face the guide roller while separating a separator. In a state where the joining roller is lifted to create the space between the rollers, the polarizer is supplied to the space between the rollers. When the tip end of the polarizer reaches a predetermined position in the created space between the upper and lower rollers, the joining roller is lowered and the polarizer supplied synchronously with transportation of the film is pressed against the film and joined.

摘要: In the present invention, a technique is described for manufacturing microtube devices which have peripheral geometries that are not uniform along the tube or device axis. These geometries may exist in only one location on the periphery of the microtube device or geometries may be repeated either uniformly or non-uniformly with micron or sub-micron precision along the tube or device axis. The preferred manufacturing process involves forming a complex mandrel, ie., (one, for example, that can not be formed by extrusion or pultrusion under constant processing conditions) and giving it at least one metallic and/or nonmetallic coating by any of a variety of techniques. The complex mandrel can then be removed by appropriate chemical or physical means that do not adversely affect the coating(s) desired for the wall. The result is a microtube structure having an axial profile duplicating that on the mandrel from which it was formed.

摘要: A thermally activating device includes: a conveyor roller 56 situated rearward of a thermal head 51 and a platen roller 52 and adapted to convey a heat-sensitive adhesive sheet 21 that has been thermally activated while passing the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet 21 over an upper side thereof; and driving means for rotationally driving this conveyor roller 56, in which the side of the conveyor roller 56 over which the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet 21 passes is formed as a space larger than the thickness of the adhesive sheet 21, and drive force is transmitted to the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet 21 from the lower surface side thereof by rotationally driving the conveyor roller 56, thereby discharging the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet 21 to the outside of the device. The conveyor roller 56 is configured such that a part of the roller outer circumference thereof is offset by 0.3 mm or more to the platen roller 52 side from a reference plane H obtained by extending a head surface of the thermal head 51.

摘要: A synthetic amorphous marble flooring and a manufacturing method of the same are disclosed. The method includes the steps of kneading a synthetic resin compound with multi-colored spot color chips and primarily rolling the kneaded compound to manufacture a primarily rolled sheet, laminating the primarily rolled sheets while cutting the sheet to have a predetermined size and rotating the sheet, performing secondary rolling the laminated sheets by a low-temperature calendering to form wave patterns and rough surface on the sheets, and filling the rough surface of the secondarily rolled sheets by embossing in the length direction or any type of embossing using a first embossing unit of a double-embossing system to maintain uniform thickness, and flattening the surface by a secondary embossing unit of the double-embossing system. Thus, the synthetic marble flooring exhibiting amorphous marble patterns and excellent durability and a method of manufacturing the same are provided.

摘要: Apparatus and methods for processing composite components using an elastomeric caul are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method includes forming a prepreg material on a non-planar portion of a lay-up mandrel, and providing an elastomeric caul over the prepreg material in an initial position such that a first portion of the elastomeric caul is proximate the prepreg material on the lay-up mandrel, and a second portion of the elastomeric caul adjacent the first portion is spaced apart from the prepreg material. Next, a pressure is reduced within a space disposed between the elastomeric caul and the lay-up mandrel proximate the non-planar portion. Simultaneously with the reducing of the pressure with the space, the elastomeric caul is stretched into a second position such that the second portion of the elastomeric caul is drawn proximate to at least one of the prepreg material and the lay-up mandrel.

摘要: The present invention relates to a label-pasting method and a label-pasting device which do not require peeling-off paper and hence enable low-cost label pasting. A label-pasting device comprising (i) an adhesive applier for applying pressure-sensitive adhesive to a label-material sheet composed of only label material and fed from its roll, (ii) a die cutter for cutting out labels from the label-material sheet with pressure-sensitive adhesive, and (iii) a label paster for pasting the cut-out labels on a packing sheet. Because the label-material sheet is composed of only label material and no peeling-off paper is used, the label-pasting cost is low.
