摘要: Components for articles of footwear and athletic equipment are provided including a foam. A variety of foams and foam components and compositions for forming the foams are provided. In some aspects, the foams and components including the foams can have exceptionally high energy return while also having improved durability and softness. In particular, midsoles including the foams are provided for use in an article of footwear. Methods of making the compositions and foams are provided, as well as methods of making an article of footwear including one of the foam components. In some aspects, the foams and foam components can be made by injection molding or injection molding followed by compression molding.

摘要: A roofing membrane and a method of making the same is provided. The roofing membrane includes a top layer having a flame retardant and a first silane-crosslinked polyolefin elastomer with a density less than 0.90 g/cm3; a scrim layer; and a bottom layer having a flame retardant and a second silane-crosslinked polyolefin elastomer with a density less than 0.90 g/cm3. The top and bottom layers of the roofing membrane both exhibit a compression set of from about 5.0% to about 35.0%, as measured according to ASTM D 395 (22 hrs @ 70° C.).

摘要: A method of operating a polyethylene reactor system includes feeding ethylene, an optional first comonomer, a diluent, and a chromium-based catalyst to a first polymerization reactor. The method further includes contacting ethylene and the comonomer with the catalyst in the first polymerization reactor to form a first product including a first polyethylene. The method further includes feeding the first product from the first polymerization reactor to a second polymerization reactor. The method further includes contacting ethylene and a second optional comonomer with catalyst from the first reactor in the second polymerization reactor to form a second product including the first polyethylene and a second polyethylene. The method further includes controlling one or both of a molecular weight or a breadth of molecular weight distribution of the second product by adjusting a rate of hydrogen fed to one or both of the first polymerization reactor or the second polymerization reactor.

摘要: The present invention provides a polyamide resin composition (nylon composition) and a sliding member using this, which have excellent moldability and sliding properties. The polyamide resin composition contains, as additives, polyethylene resin of 5 to 20% by mass, polytetrafluoroethylene resin of 5 to 30% by mass, modified polyolefin resin of 0.5 to 5% by mass, and phosphate of 1 to 5% by mass, in addition to polyamide resin that is a main component. The sliding member is produced by molding this polyamide resin composition.
