    摘要: A circuit is for sampling an analog input signal that receives and samples an analog input signal. Sampling circuitry is clocked at a sampling frequency and samples the analog input signal at a rate corresponding to the sampling frequency. The sampling circuitry includes at least one pulse density modulator that includes a comparator configured to be clocked at the sampling frequency, to provide bandpass sampling of the analog input signal at the sampling frequency, and to produce a corresponding pulsed output that is pulse density modulated based on the analog input signal.

    摘要: Apparatus for and methods of obtaining positional information about one or more objects in a detection field are disclosed. An array including a transmitting element and a plurality of receiving elements is provided. In one aspect a truncated cross-correlation function is applied to determine the interval between signals received by a plurality of the receiving elements, thereby to determine an angular position of an object. In another aspect a warning zone is defined and it is determined whether an object is within the warning zone. Also disclosed are techniques for stretching received signals, and techniques for obtaining positional information relating to an object using non-Doppler radar. Various implementations, modifications and applications of the techniques described are disclosed. Typical applications of the techniques described are with vehicles.

    摘要: An integrated circuit contains a microprocessor core, program memory and separate data storage, together with analog and digital signal processing circuitry. The ALU is 16 bits wide, but a 32-bit shift unit is provided, using a pair of 16-bit registers. The processor has a fixed length instruction format, with an instruction set including multiply and divide operations which use the shift unit over several cycles. No interrupts are provided. external pins of the integrated circuit allow for single stepping and other debug operations, and a serial interface (SIF) which allows external communication of test dat or working data as necessary. The serial interface has four wires (SERIN, SEROUT, SERCLK, SERLOADB), allowing handshaking with a master apparatus, and allowing direct access to the memory space of the processor core, without specific program control. Within each processor cycle, the processor circuitry is divided into plural stages, and latches are interposed between the stages to minimize power consumption.
