    摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a motor control apparatus and on-vehicle motor drive system which can easily protect components of an inverter from overvoltage even if surplus power occurs in a generator in a system without a battery between a generator and a motor. An inverter 32 converts the DC power generated by a generator 21 to AC power, and supplies it to an AC motor 40. A controller 100 controls DC-to-AC conversion in the inverter 32. Interruption means including an overvoltage detector 36 and a semiconductor switch 38 prevents the power generated by the generator 21 from being supplied to the inverter 32 when the inverter 32 is stopped.

    摘要: In a rectifier unit having a MOSFET, there is provided a stable MOSFET rectifying operation which is not influenced by a power generation condition from a start of an engine. An output VS obtained by adding phase voltages VU, VV, and VW and a power generation voltage VBR are compared by COM1. During a period of VBR>VS, a timing signal VT having a cycle of an electrical angle of 120 degrees is obtained. In synchronism with rising of logical products AND1 and AND2 based on a comparison result VH-ON of a phase voltage VU and a power generation voltage VB and a comparison result VL-ON of a phase voltage VU and a GND potential, flip-flops FF1 and FF2 are operated. Then, a gate signal VHGD of an upper-stream side MOSFET and a gate signal VLGD of a lower-stream side MOSFET are outputted to execute a MOSFET rectifying operation.

    摘要: An electric power converter is provided with a plurality of power-conversion elements; a first control circuit that outputs a first control signal; an electricity storage circuit; a second control circuit that outputs a second control signal when the direct-current power source that supplies electrical power to the first control circuit is not normal; and a drive circuit that outputs drive signals for driving the plurality of power-conversion elements. Each of the power-conversion elements is either a power-conversion element of the upper arm connected to the high-voltage side or a conversion element of the lower arm connected to the low-voltage side. In cases when the voltage of the electricity storage circuit is at a higher predetermined first voltage value, the second control circuit outputs a second control signal so that all the power-conversion elements of the upper arm or the lower arm are turned on and the others are turned off.
