摘要: A vehicle has a motor serving as a driving source for running the vehicle, a high-power assembled battery and a high-capacity assembled battery each capable of supplying an electric power to the motor, and a temperature adjusting mechanism adjusting the temperature of each of the high-power assembled battery and the high-capacity assembled battery. The temperature adjusting mechanism supplies a heat exchange medium for use in the temperature adjustment of the high-power assembled battery and the high-capacity assembled battery to each of the assembled batteries. The high-power assembled battery is capable of charge and discharge with a current relatively larger than that in the high-capacity assembled battery. The high-capacity assembled battery has an energy capacity relatively larger than that of the high-power assembled battery, has a higher dependence of battery characteristic on temperature than that of the high-power assembled battery, and is placed on a flow path of the heat exchange medium upstream of the high-power assembled battery.

摘要: A measuring chip installation/removal device of the present invention secures and removes a measuring chip to and from the top surface of an SPR measurement device that measures a specimen in the measuring chip by surface plasmon resonance. The measuring chip installation/removal device includes: a chip carrier on which the measuring chip is mounted; a chip carrier guide that guides the chip carrier on the top surface; and a first magnet provided in the chip carrier, and a second magnet is provided in the chip carrier guide. Orientation of a magnetic force received by the first magnet from the second magnet is reversed by displacing the chip carrier guide, so that the chip carrier is secured to or removed from the top surface.

摘要: An information retrieval scheme using classification trees with respect to a plurality of information sources connected to a network is disclosed, where each classification tree having a hierarchical structure defined in terms of entries. In the information retrieval apparatus, classification tree class information for each classification tree class defined among entries constituting each classification tree is managed, where each classification tree class information indicating retrieval condition parameters for each classification tree class. Then, the information retrieval is controlled by receiving from a user a retrieval request indicating a retrieval target entry that was obtained by the user by tracing the classification trees, generating retrieval commands with respect to selected information sources among said plurality of information sources by referring to each classification tree class information corresponding to the retrieval target entry that is managed by the class definition unit, obtaining a retrieval result of a retrieval with respect to the selected information sources using the retrieval commands, and returning the retrieval result to the user.
